I think the movie was probably a bit cleaner than reality. At least we still don't have smell-o-vision in the theaters.

It's been sad the past few years to see the green(?) "T" replacing the old red "R" atop the old Rainier Brewery by I-5 in Seattle. A bit of history gone by the wayside -- and Rainier used to run some GREAT TV ads(not that I watched much TV even then).
