White House: Obama may use executive privilege to withhold Kagan documents
Kagan Watch Keeping an Eye on Elena Kagan ^ | June 3, 2010

In a letter to Sen. Jeff Sessions, the ranking Republican on the Judiciary Committee Republican, Robert Bauer, counsel to Obama, implied the president may use executive privilege to hide some memos Elena Kagan wrote when she served in the Clinton White House.

“President Obama does not intend to assert executive privilege over any of the documents requested by the Committee,” Bauer writes.

“Of course, President Clinton also has an interest in these records, and his representative is reviewing them now,” he adds.

The Clinton library has more than 150,000 documents related to Elena Kagan. This is one of the few sources we have to know what Kagan thinks on many issues.

OMG I am so confused.

You apparently have little experience in coming to the truth after hearing such White Hut-speak.

In the very next sentence, Bauer flippantly starts out, "Of course..." This is an unusual writing manner, but very significant, nonetheless, as he juxtaposes former President Clinton's interests, implying Executive Privilege could well be claimed if Clinton's counsel were to prefer it that way. Bauer also implies it would only take such a "drop of a hat" for Barry to help out BJ.

” [“ Clinton may have some interest”, ]

Which trumps the interest of 300 million citizens in the lifetime appointment of a Supreme Court justice? “

It’s always about them, not us....

The US and United States have become irrelevant to them when they think about America

If someone keeps digging, and digging, and digging for such documents, we may eventually have to hear that worms ate them.   ;-)

These 10,000 documents are a smokescreen with very little beef to be found. The Kurintong LIEbrary is laughing heartily at how much Republican time they can waste with this garbage dump. I wouldn't doubt that all significant documents have been withheld by them thus far.

A sentatorial privilege hold or getting the senatorial Maine-twins and Grahamnesty back on board are more likely to yield the required result.

Bingo. As I keep saying here on FR, let’s apply Occam’s Razor.

Someone hiding their past has....something to hide. Just that simple.
