Another 2010 primary upset could be on the horizon.
Tea Party favorite and former Assemblywoman Sharron Angle is making gains in the Nevada Republican Senate race just five days before Tuesdays primary.
Angle is leading her two main rivals, Las Vegas businessman Danny Tarkanian and former state party Chairwoman Sue Lowden, by seven and eight points, respectively, according to a Suffolk University poll released today.
The survey of 400 likely Nevada Republican voters was conducted June 1 and has a 4.9% margin of error. In it, Angle leads Tarkanian 33%-26% and Lowden, 33%-25%. All other GOP contenders are in the single digits.

Great news for Harry Reid if she’s the nominee. A two-time (sore) loser and loose cannon.
Everyone I have talked to in Reno is voting for Sharron!!! YEAH!!!
Hope she can get some good handlers for the general election. Maybe, McCain will have somebody availabe after the primaries.
Oh wait...
The Scientologist?
She is a Christian. The only thing she ever worked with that coincided with scientology was legislation prohibiting school employees from requiring students to take psychotropic drugs based on the idea that such issues should be the sole domain of doctors and parents which I agree with. The law passed. The attempts to call her a Scientologist are not only stupid but would be like calling someone a Mormon because they have common political aims and work with Mormons to put forth a bill.
I voted for Bill Parson, the only unconditional conservative.
I am sick of the Angle - Lowden - Tarkanian circular firing squad making it easier for Pinky Reid to win in the general election.
No, Moby, it’s not a circular firing squad, and a competitive primary doesn’t make it the least bit easier for a Dem to win. Political primaries have been around for well over a hundred years now, and when done right (i.e., not open to the opposing party and not scheduled to favor a certain type of candidate), they allow voters — not party bigwigs in smoke-filled rooms — to decide each party’s nominees for general elections.

Apparently you have not seen the nasty commercials these campaigns are running against each other.
Dingy Harry WILL be using sound bites from them in the general election.
“doesnt make it the least bit easier for a Dem to win”.
Wrong.
Using up so many political contributions for such a divided field in the primary leaves less to be contributed in the general election.
Meanwhile, Pinky is sitting cool with at least NINE MILLION DOLLARS waiting to be spent
He will be able to shut out any rival for air time, he can simply outspend them 40-1.
I truly fear he will succeed, history has shown he does not have to win in most of the state so long as he prevails in Clark and Washoe counties.
