LONDON - British police said the death toll from a shooting spree in northwest England earlier on Wednesday had risen to 12.
A taxi driver described as quiet but friendly went on a shooting spree across a picturesque rural area before apparently turning the gun on himself, police said.

You ever notice how these shootings NEVER, EVER take place at firing ranges?
You’re right. Clearly this story is a fabrication because no one could do this in England with the restrictive gun laws they have. :)

I was going to ask the same question.
UK have a lot of Amish?

How does Paul McCArtney explain THIS?
Perhaps as an example of his global concerns, McCartney called the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico “a disgrace.”
“I think most of us think it’s a disgrace, and the fact that something like this can happen” is something that is “going to be addressed,” he said.
Oh Paul ... BP is a BRITISH COMPANY!
BP has NOTHING to do with MEXICO!
British Petroleum (BP) is a UK company.
BP plc[2] is a British global energy company which is the third largest energy company and the fourth largest company in the world. As a multinational oil company (”oil major”) BP is the UK’s largest corporation, with its headquarters in St James’s, City of Westminster, London.

ANY words of WISDOM for this, Paul McCartney?
LOOK at the craphole your COUNTRY HAS BECOME!
“quiet but friendly”
The English are always polite, even while on a shooting spree.
Apparently not that rare.
Somehow I don’t think the people he killed would describe the murderer as “quiet and freindly.”
Little wankor.
“He was a quiet man.” - Rodney Dangerfield
Did that happen at a firing range, like I mentioned in my post?

(The man said Bird enjoyed foreign holidays, travelling to Thailand each year with friends. He rarely spoke of any family. He said he was not aware of Bird owning a gun, or being a member of a gun club.)
Not at a firing range, but you will note one past killer was a "gun enthusiast" - Oh the humanities.
There have been a few murder/suicides at ranges lately. The latest I recall was in Utah.
Yeah, that’s what I thought, too. This must be a mistake.
And all of those security cameras really helped stop this.
It’s still legal to own a shotgun and these shootings were done with one. Far more effective than a handgun but a little harder to conceal.
Oh there it is again, but this time he is a “shooting enthusiast”.
