Breaking hard--Jim Greer has been arrested at his home. Charges currently unknown.
Update: The former chairman of the Republican Party of Florida was arrested Wednesday, and charged with grand theft and money laundering according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
Greer, who was hand-picked by Gov. Charlie Crist after helping him get elected in 2006, stepped down in February. Party activists and major donors had called for his resignation over reports of lavish spending on private jets, decadent meals and entertainment.
Eeeeew...his mug shot is quite fitting for a slime ball.
Charlie will finish 3rd, with 10% or less of the vote in a Rubio win.

The squealer or the squealee?
Greer was Crist’s handpicked chairman and a big backer of Crist.
Good. Time to purge every double-dealing, corrupt RINO from the GOP, and restore it to conservatism and integrity.
I don't know but this seems like and invitation for more fact-less speculation. Anyone have a guess?
Hmmmmmmmmm why is it I always think of Terri Schiavo when I think of Jim Greer...
I’m going with incorrect information on his census form. I’ll bet he put down the wrong birth-date for his wife.
Another Florida GOP Chairman crook goes down?? God is good!
Republican Party of Florida releases $7.3 million in American Express statements

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TALLAHASSEE Gov. Charlie Crist took chartered helicopters and his wealthy wife let the Republican Party pay for her airfare. A top GOP official charged $368,000 in a single month. And another party staffer collected enough credit card rewards points to earn a diamond-studded watch.
This is what it was like at the Republican Party of Florida under former chairman Jim Greer, whose lavish spending and secret dealings led to his ouster and sparked a federal criminal investigation.
But it's just a glimpse from the 2,452 double-sided pages of credit card records released Friday by the party in an effort to quell further speculation amid the ongoing controversy.
The documents detail how 31 party officials spent $7.3 million since 2007 specific expenses never disclosed in public campaign finance reports.
