The Coming Resignation of Barack Obama

Months ago, I predicted in this column that President Obama would so discredit himself in office that he wouldn't even be on the ballot in 2012, let alone have a prayer of being reelected. Like President Johnson in 1968, who had won a much bigger victory four years previously than Obama did in 2008, President Obama will be so politically defunct by 2012 that he won't even try to run for reelection.

I am now ready to predict that President Obama will not even make it that far. I predict that he will resign in discredited disgrace before the fall of 2012. Like my previous prediction, that is based not just on where we are now, but where we are going under his misleadership.

Is the President Above the Law?

Watergate was supposed to have established that Presidents are not above the law. If that is so, President Obama may have to resign for breaking the law in the Sestak affair.

“Zero “will” resign if his puppet master deems”
“Perhaps not.”

Keep an eye on the Clintonista’s; such as Carville (his recent rant was merely premeditated posturing) and Hillary’s handler - Bubba. When it comes to Obama, the Hillary wing of the liberal elite smell blood in the water, not oil. They still have not got over having the election stolen from them (in their minds) and want a reckoning with the Obamakin’s, badly....

I think Kim the Ill, Ahmed the Iranian, and Osama’s successors are pushing hard right now for major blowup because they understand that the chance of success will decline after a November sea change. Turkey’s Islamists see a major chance to take the lead of the Sunni faction desiring Caliphate but they have to be out front when it all goes bang.

He will resign or be impeached. Those are the only options. He never had a chance of having a “legacy” other than shame and discredit.

Only Republicans are held to a higher standard. Obama will finish his first term and run for a second. At that point it will be the voters to blame if he gets another term.

He is still going to have to be physically pulled out. He will not follow suggestion, and maybe not a Decision, voluntarily.

In a sane world this logic would rule, But as one and all can see right now it is not a sane world, so it is very unlikely until we as a nation return to our founding’s of Faith and Values.

I think you give these foreign potentates too much credit. They see Hussein as commander in chief and POTUS no matter what happens in November, and they are right.

They see now that they have a free hand. The US has the power, but Hussein is unwilling to use it. In the mid east Israel is enduring a never ending war. Iran has its surrogates supplied and ready. This latest gambit with the "aid flotilla" was just a, seemingly successful, attempt to shape the terms of the propaganda war and create some more martyrs.

If only we had a culture like Old Japan's, that recognized the concept of disgrace.

Soros was a late comer to the Obama party.

His earliest benefactors were guys like Khalid Mansour and Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal (who is now an investor in Fox/Newscorp).

His tremendous ego will never allow him to resign.

I agree that he's got an oversized ego but I think that he's also very fragile.

He's never had this much sustained pressure on him in his entire life and as his wall (Rohm and cronies) begin to crumble so will he.

The old house of cards thingy.

You see, unlike a true leader, such as Reagan, who lifts the people up that are around him, BO is standing on the shoulders of his enablers.

Barry Sotero Obama will not resign and instead will continue to blame others for his failures. The Democrats will have a blood bath in the November elections as a result of Obama and the wildly unpopular Reid/Pelosi Congress. Facing political extinction in the 2012 elections moderate Democrats will put a lot of pressure on Obama to resign. Barry Sotero Obama’s ego will not permit him to admit defeat and he will steadfastly refuse calls for him to resign or not run again in 2012. This will lead to primary challenges in 2012 and Obama may again face Hillary for the nomination.

That’s the second “oh no we’d have Biden” post on this thread. That should be the least of our worries. I’d gladly take him!

On the other hand, at least one of the stories from yesterday seemed to be trying to implicate Biden in the Sestak scandal. That may be the strategy - force Biden to take the fall and resign. Then what?

It’s a dirty game; “the handlers” needed a narcissist that would be too self-occupied and glory-bound to not reckon the consequences of a potential failure.

Mr SuperEgo Bumbler never will resign. Mr. “Jimma Carter” Obama has royally screwed this country and will be 10 times more unpopular Bubba Jimma.

He will not resign because he has no conscience. He has turned the entryway of the White House into a shrine to himself. He will have to be forced out. He believes the bs about himself and his handlers keep him in the bubble. The only way he is removed will be when his handlers think he has become too much of a liability. But so far, their efforts to destroy this country are going according to their plan with little barry as the front man deflecting attention.
