Now there have been three polls post-Will-Folks' allegations. Two are linked at RCP.

It appears Haley is still well ahead.

I had never heard of Nikki Haley until last Monday when driving through South Carolina I heard about this "scandal" on the radio.

It so obviously a political ambush--

that if I could vote in South Carolina

I WOULD VOTE FOR NIKKI HALEY

for this very reason!

On Friday Folks presented phone records detailing approximately 700 phone calls between Folks and Haley's personal cell phone. The information detailed a considerable number of calls from Haley's cell phone to Folks. Several calls were late at night and some were up to three hours in duration. A significant number of the calls were an hour or more and after ten pm.

Yesterday, Mark Sanfraud declared that he didn't believe the allegations concerning Haley.

yeah because talking to a “friend/coworker” looks bad. I mean who would ever talk to someone for hours. I know no women that would ever talk on the phone for hours on end to someone she considered a friend/coworker.

Show me pictures or it means nothing there are several reasons why someone would talk on the phone with someone else. Friendship, work, a shoulder to lean on during a hard fought campaign. If she was talking on the phone that means she was not with him. she could as easily been lonely on the campaign trail and needed a friend to unload on. nothing about the phone records speak of anything untoward happening.

What do you expect to see as proof, a porn video?

A married woman frequently speaking to a part time consultant who is a single man in the very late hours of the night for extended periods of time (one hour plus) is highly unusual to say the least. Where was her husband? Where were her children?

BTW, her “campaign trail” was only a small district in near Lexington, South Carolina.

Many people esp women with children work late at night after the children are asleep. there are many reasons why late night phone calls might have occurred besides an affair. The fact that folks as not produced any evidence that is non refutable says he is bluffing.

i understand. I'm just saying how something looks is not in all cases what something is.

Anyone can make someone else look bad. Unless I see proof I tend to look at the reasons someone is doing something. I find it amazing that this rumor only came out after Haley surged to the lead. It appears to be a hit job and until evidence is presented that clearly shows an affair I think Will folks is lying and trying to make it appear an affair took place for political reasons.
