Why Gaza aid flotilla a media success

It was exactly the kind of coverage that pro-Palestinian activists behind the Gaza aid flotilla were aiming for: "Deaths as Israeli forces storm Gaza aid ship." Associated Press, BBC, Fox News, CNN and countless other media outlets across the world and even in Israel, carried such headlines, reporting the ensuing diplomatic crisis and worldwide condemnation that quickly followed.

Not surprisingly, this typical knee-jerk reaction by the media and international community to such Mideast confrontations, failed to report the outside circumstances that lead to the unfolding events at sea.

There is one problem with this story. The first reaction of 80% of liberals to the story is “what the heck is a flotilla??????”

I hope the next President allows Israel to defeat the Palestinians. I mean force them to submit for peace. I mean to kill so many of them that the few that are left are grateful. I also hope the next President dedicates the US to the defeat barbaric, filthy Islam just as President Reagan did to the Soviet Union.

Israel has finally figured out that their big mistake in their last two dust-ups (Lebanon and the Gaza Incursion) was that they knuckled under to Media pressure, and pulled their punches.. (Inappropriate force, indeed...)

This time, they’re going to forego the ‘media battle’, and, ignoring the “Great Yawp”, take care of business in the most efficient and effective manner....

The anti-Israel bigots fail to realize that if Israel really wanted to they could have wiped out the Palestinians a long time ago. You know that if the Palestinians could they would have wiped out the Israeli years ago. That tells you the difference between the two nations. One is civilized the other is not.
