You know what? The players did more than just open their doors to these two prostitutes, they SEARCHED them out.
While the crime they were charged with was false, what they did was also a crime, and if not currently on the books it should be.

While undoubtedly lacking in taste, hiring dancers is NOT A CRIME. Further, two of the boys were NOT involved in hiring the dancers and left the party. Making the stupid decision to hire that psychotic woman does not justify being charged with and facing significant prison time for a crime they didn’t commit.
So tell me...what is it you teach at Duke?

I'm going to try and be civil. It's gonna be tough after your comments. I'm going to assume you know nothing about what the whole episode was about and you must have got your info from the MSM. And therein lies the problem. But in short you don't know what you are talking about.
No what they did was NOT a crime and should NOT be a crime. It may have been Juvenile but their behavior was not out of line with goes on in colleges fraternities (although technically the lacrosse players were not a frat). Believe me I know of what I speak.
It's not unusual for Frats to hire exotic dancers. This has been done for a long time. It's not illegal in the area that they are in. It's a legit business. It's not a classy thing but things are what they are.
I won't go into the details because it would take too much time to go over it all. But if you want a full account of what happened, get the book Until Proven Innocent by Stuart Taylor. There you can be educated on this shameful affair. You will find that two of the accused weren't even there when the dancers performed. You need to get educated before making asinine comments. There I tried to be civil.

So they deserved what they got, you’re saying?
No one deserves to be lied about. The guilt is one Crystal, the DA,and the corrupt cops. why have they never been called to account?

You know what else? You are a hypocrite. It serves less than no purpose to discuss the sins of some individual in the context of their having been - and still being - gratuitously harassed. It is nothing more than additional gratuitous harassment.

If its not currently on the books, then it is not a crime.

Even the one of the three who left immediately when the strippers arrived, and wasn’t even present when the whole “locked in the bathroom scene” went down?
Wow, I won’t say what I really think of that. Other than that you’re probably too ignorant about these events to be posting about them.

While the crime they were charged with was false, what they did was also a crime, and if not currently on the books it should be. Nope, the two girls were hired for erotic dancing at a private party, not prostitution. No crime for dancing, so the boys were legit.

No one put a hand (or anything else) on them the entire time they were there. Take your narrative somewhere else.

Lay off those young men! If hiring cheap tramps becomes a crime like you want it to be, a significant portion of the country will be behind bars. So they hired a couple of cheap tramps for a night of ‘entertainment’. They more than paid for it after all was said and done.
Get off their backs. If you feel so sinless and perfect, try walking on water. Should cure your delusions quite quickly.

"While the crime they were charged with was false, what they did was also a crime, and if not currently on the books it should be." Could you share your evidence with us, please. From what I recall they hired two women to perform as strippers. Not exactly something to warm a parent's heart, but not a crime. And as long as we have a first amendment it should not be. Immoral, perhaps; but not illegal.
Unless you have some evidence that the MSM overlooked in their persecut, I mean investigation.
