RUSH: Let's get this out of the way. This is last Sunday, New Haven. Clinton did the commencement address at Yale. Here is a portion of what he said.
CLINTON: Hawaii, the state where President Obama has born, has done everything they can to debunk this myth that he wasn't born in America. They've done everything but blow up his birth certificate, but it in neon lights and hang it on the dome of the Capitol. But 45% of registered Republicans still believe that he is serving unconstitutionally. Why? Because they've been told that by the only place they go to get information.
RUSH: Now, who does he think that is? So Bill Clinton trashing yours truly -- a harmless, lovable little fuzzball here, El Rushbo -- at the Yale commencement address last Sunday. You know, we have not made a big deal about the birth certificate on this program. I've purposely stayed away from it. But I don't believe that they have blown it up and put it in neon lights. I believe the truth is you can't find it, and the governor out there, Linda Lingle, said, "Eh, we're going to stop all these requests to see it."

The only reason this issue is alive is because Barack Obama refuses to release his birth certificate and journalists are too incompetent to do their job to demand the release of the document.

Can we change the title to: “Bill Clinton advises Rush Limbaugh How To Attack Obama Next”? It just seems more appropriate....
Oh, yes there is.
Those who vote for him or could potentially vote for him believe he was born in the U.S. or could give a rats ass and see "birthers" as a bunch of loonies.
As long as his opponents look and act like loonies, he wins.
If he were to produce evidence which would satisfy "birthers" then he looses a wacko opponent group. That would not be smart politics.
So the status quo is the best for both sides. Keep doubt about his legitimacy on our side (which is good for the base) and the left gets to see what it wants to see - which is good for their base.

the press is just covering for the lefties. no one believes what they say anymore. more people believe the government will lie/cheat/steal to suit its own ends than ever before in history.
Obama won't be removed over the BC issue. He won't release it, even if it really exists. However, it will help to make him unelectable in 2012 and it will help to stop him and the "untrustworthy" Democratics and their agenda.
Pound him and the democrats on the BC issue. It demonstrates how corrupt, dishonest and Opaque (contrast with transparent) they are.
One problem with that.
As the nation gets taken over by thugs, eventually more and more people will see that the rule of law is not a fringe issue, and the people who have been demanding it.... are the only people you can trust.
Okay. Two problems. The other:
The Hawaii DOH has indirectly confirmed in 2 different ways, through official communications, that the COLB Obama posted is a forgery. Not a good idea to commit a crime in order to make your opponents look crazy. Eventually the truth will come back and bite you in the butt.
The same "incompetent" journalists who attempted to investigate the adoption records of John Roberts during his confirmation hearing.

And...Our conservative media ( Rush, Hannity, Ingram, Beck, and the rest) have also refused to demand the release of documents that would definitively prove whether Obama was or was not a natural born citizen. My feeling range from dumbfounded to infuriated about that.
Well, Rush...I think you a bit too late and little bit too little! ( Disgusted!) Having a natural born citizen for president is **fundamental** to the Constitution. I conclude that you are a phony or a coward. The only other option is stupid, and you are not stupid.

Rush and the rest have NOT and are NOT demanding that the rule of law be upheld! Why should we trust these yapping phonies and cowards?

Most folks assume that Bubba signed in blood to submit any speeches to the White House for pre-approval as a condition for Hillary being offered SOS.
That would mean that Clinton's Yale speech was pre-approved by the WH. If it was pre-approved, it betrays extreme weakness and insecurity to have the former president bait the birthers with an obviously false statement which any competent Yale grad with a modicum of independent thought and capacity for research could prove to be false.
On the other hand, Clinton could be intentionally setting up Obama by calling attention to a potential BC/NBC weakness that, if Obama’s protections and credibility continue to crumble, result in a path being cleared for Hillary in 2012 or sooner.
Look at three recent stories that undermine Obama:
1. Clinton's high profile, unnecessry birther comments baits himself to be called out by Rush
2. Sestak, a total Clinton operative, setting up the WH
3. Carville, a total Clinton loyalist, denounces Obama providing an instant GOP attack ad.
Is there a pattern here?
Eventually the truth will come back and bite you in the butt.
