Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh is set to marry his longtime girlfriend, Kathryn Rogers, next week in an intimate ceremony at his beachfront home in Palm Beach, Fla.
Limbaugh, 59, met 33-year-old Rogers, a direct descendant of Founding Father John Adams, in 2004 when she ran a golf tournament/charity fundraiser and Limbaugh was a celebrity guest, Jose Lambiet reports in his column in the Palm Beach Post.
At the time, Limbaugh was getting divorced from third wife Marta. That split was finalized later that year, and Limbaugh and Rogers were an item by the summer of 2007.

My wife picked up on that too; says that the soon-to-be Mrs. Limbaugh's eyes look too angry.
Cheers!

To GQuagmire: The “Adams” in your family is “THE” “Adams Family”, and not the historical one. That is why you didn’t get an invitation to Rush’s wedding.

Remember, Johnny Carson was married many times, usually to someone names Joanne, while Hugh Heffner has been married a couple times and coupled hundreds of times.
If I were W.C. Fields commenting on the question of being married several times, I/he would say:
“Marriage? I try it every ten years whether I want to or not.”
“Water, never touch the stuff”.
“Kids? With gravy and potatoes”

Here's your invitation...

Oh my gosh. Too strange.
I made a reference to Art Linkletter, completely out of the blue (I hadn’t thought about Art Linkletter in years) and I just saw the side bar that says he died tonight.
Now, it is possible I might have unconsciously seen his name as I scrolled by it, but I don’t think so. That is very coincidental.

And the joy in his voice when he talks about them is clear. Rush has grown up. A child of his own would round this man out immensely. I wish he would, too.

May-December couple walks in and my son asks very loudly Is he her daddy? When I was in college and my Dad would come take me to dinner in L.A., we would get those same stares and comments! I was horrified, of course, and said "DAD, pass the bread" as soon as possible! Thinking back, I should have let my Dad enjoy the studliness rep a little longer! :)

Well, I guess Al Franken will have to modify his sentence in the book entitled : RUSH LIMBAUGH IS A BIG FAT IDIOT. He said : Im getting a little sick of cranky Republicans who cant keep their own families together telling everybody else about family values. Quick. What do Newt Gingrich, Bob Dole, Phil Gramm, and George Will have in common? Answer. Theyve all been married only one less time than Rush Limbaugh. The words one less time will now have to be changed to two less times if he ever updates his book. Only in the case of Newt Gingrich can the one less time be applicable.I'm not sure which is more troubling--that on this occassion, THAT's what's on your mind, or that you know Al Franken's writing well enough to recall that passage. ;)
