Congress bows to gay agenda...repeals 'repeals don't ask don't tell'

The drive to end the ban still has a long way to go. The 234-194 House vote was an amendment to a defense spending bill that comes up for a final vote Friday. While the spending bill, which approves more than $700 billion in funds for military operations, enjoys wide support, some lawmakers vowed to vote against it if the "don't ask, don't tell" repeal was included.

"It jeopardizes passage of the entire bill," said Rep. Gene Taylor of Mississippi, a conservative Democrat who opposed it.

The full Senate is expected to take up the defense bill next month, and Republicans are threatening a filibuster if the change in policy toward gays remains in the legislation.

Pray we have no major hurricanes come ashore this year. This Regime is one major catastrophe away from evoking martial law and declaring elections off. The simply need the driver to make it happen, and Obama can declare himself Dictator-for-Life.

In November, “We, the People...” will repeal Congress, by each of us voting our own representative out.

I agree, but, don’t expect any miracles. November is a long way off. This bunch now in power, with the aid of the media can do a lot of damage between now and then. It is my personal opinion that unless the Democrats know that they will be able to steal this election, there won’t be an election.

This decision isn’t an end, but an inception. It’s a springboard to full-bore perversion.

Listening to a very good Christian talk radio program (Janet Mefferd and HIGHLY recommended!), a guest was on and stated Chaplains could be prosecuted for preaching what is in the Bible. In essence, the new law actually protects homosexual lifstyle choices from any criticism ala “hate crimes” in Canada.

These morons claim that allowing homosexuals to serve openly in our military will somehow make our military “stronger”.

Are they just saying this to get the bill passed, or is there some study that shows this to be true? How can potential conflicts between straight soldiers and homos in a military setting, which is in so many ways so different than civilian life, in any way make the military more combat effective or stronger?

Agreed. But if the DADT repeal provision makes it all the way through, giving the Pentagon the final say in repealing it, it doesn't matter if Republicans, even conservatives, take back both house of Congress in November - ZerObama holds the leash of the Pentagon officials. My guess is he won't wait for the review to be completed in December; his sodomite constituency won't let him.

How many potentially good fighting men will the Military lose if this goes through?...who wants to go to boot camp or basic training knowing that some of the cadre could very well be part of a gang of homosexuals?

This evil regime cares nothing about normal, hard-working. God fearing people, but drop their pants for the gaggle of perverted homosexual scum!

There’ll be new songs being sung in the barracks after this piece of stupidity.

(I dropped my soap in the shower last night and what a surprise to me.

Now cute little Percy has taken a trip through the peeler, and grease trap then to the sea.)

I’m concerned about that too, Stan. This country is a tinderbox fully fueled by Obama’s megalomania. If someone strikes a match in the right place, we’re going to see something on the order of Nazi Germany in no time.

Last evening, after I heard this news story, my wife and I were discussing this and the across the board loss of morals in this country. I mused that I am feeling like a rock on the beach that has been exposed by a receeding tide. Fag rights, abortion on demand and single parenting issues have gotten such a strong push in the media that those who support those issues seem to have been brainwashed. I guess it goes hand in hand with the reduction in church attendance coincidental with the unabated electronic entertainment the younger populace seems addicted to. Insstead of getting a message from the pulpit, they get a message from their earphones. Reminds me of the Star Trek Next Generation episode in which Ashley Judd appeared dealing with how a video game mesmorized the entire crew into dropping out.

We talk a lot about the coming elections not only in 2010, but 2012, but I honestly can’t fathom how any sane person would even WANT to run for President of this rapidly unhinging mess our nation has become.

To me this is issue, above all others, is the proverbial canary in the coal mine. And the canary looks pretty darn sick.

Is this is the hill we will die on? Good as any. I cannot think of a better cause..

In my military years no militry man wanted to work around homos.

I suppose now we will find more navy personel “lost at sea”. Wonder if any will accidently fall out of airplanes or be hit by “friendly fire”.

And, how can increased amounts of sexual activity, sexual harassment, sexual assault and more difficulties in retention and recruitment make it stronger?
