Obama skips Memorial Day tradition
President Obama is skipping out on Memorial Day ceremonies at Arlington this weekend - but don’t worry, he’ll be back in time for a Paul McCartney concert! What a guy. What a leader. But this isn’t shocking, the President just doesn’t seem too fond of America. Even Joe Biden has caught the ‘America sucks’ bug - he was recently in Brussels speaking and just couldn’t resist throwing America directly under the bus. It’s been well over a month now since the BP oil rig explosion in the gulf, and President Obama’s somehow managed to avoid any scrutiny whatsoever from the press. President Bush didn’t fare so well when the Exxon Valdez spill happened - the press went for blood within 2 weeks. Glenn compares the press reaction side by side on radio today. Obama open to Puerto Rico statehood
Glenn was the only one who covered the news on the progressives in Puerto Rico who were manipulating the system to push Puerto Rico into statehood, despite the will of the people. President Obama has now come out and said he’s cool with the idea of Puerto Rico being a state, so long as it’s determined by the ‘people’ of Puerto Rico. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)
