He's the most-listened-to personality in the history of U.S. radio, but Rush Limbaugh feared for his life recently and said he knows he faces destruction at some point, to the delight of some of the American public.
In an e-mail sent to Zev Chafets, author of the new book "Rush Limbaugh: An Army of One," Limbaugh admitted, "I know I am a target and I know I will be destroyed eventually. I fear that all I have accomplished and all the wealth I have accumulated will be taken from me, to the cheers of the crowd. I know I am hated and despised by the American Left."
The message was sent the day after President Obama laughed at comedian Wanda Sykes' joke about Limbaugh's death during last year's White House Correspondents' Association Dinner.

In a diatribe against Limbaugh, Sykes said: "Rush Limbaugh, 'I hope the country fails' – I hope his kidneys fail, how about that?"
The dinner was broadcast nationally on C-SPAN, and a clip has been posted on YouTube, with Sykes' remarks about Limbaugh beginning at the two-minute mark:

If you fear your going to lose what you earned to the marxists, then there is the motivation to USE what you’ve earned to destroy them. Or at least help us create a place on this earth that we can be free of tyrants.
What happens in this world is what we allow to happen. If we choose to set ourselves free of the marxists and the idiots who vote for them and set towards that destination with the same determination as did the founders of this nation and any other free nation in the history of this planet... They go after Rush awhile. They go after Bill Bennett. They go after Michael Savage. They go after Glenn Beck. They go after Bill O’Reilly.
They make up bogus quotes and put them on the internet and deny Rush the opportunity to buy a sports franchise. He refuses to leave the country because he knows that there are those working in Customs looking to “get” him.
Bill Bennett “gambled”. Not with other peoples money but supposedly going to Vegas is “wrong” except for the millions who go there annually.
I don’t recall the host (Mike Gallagher?) who read a passage from a book and then immediately denounced that view he was quoting. Media Matters and their syncophants in the media ran the redacted quote falsely attributing it to the radio host.
Michael Savage was prank called while on MSNBC hosting a talk show with cooking segments. He told the rude caller to choke on a sausage (he was cooking sausage that day), told him to catch whatever that parasite you get from eating undercooked pork, and then he said get AIDS (3 different ways of saying “drop dead”). He figured the call was already off the air by that point. An NPR Public Radio host said that Jesse Helms “or one of his grandkids” should die of AIDS was not met with similar outrage from the media.
They make claims that Glenn Beck raped and murdered a girl.
The smears continue. They pecking party from the Pravda Media is non-stop.
THEN more need to follow suit.

I'll go along with the idea that there is nothing unbelievably evil about liberals -- liberalism, liberals, the progressive movement, etal, are inherently evil.
Which is how Rush apparently expects his illustrious career to end as well.

I wonder what a cartoon of Camels looks like.....
I'm imagining all sorts of things, including the cigarettes being delivered by an actual camel and smoke rings with designs that aren't possible in nature. I rarely smoked Camels in my cigarette smoking days (about 27 years ago) but I would today if they were delivered in cartoons.
If anything happens to Rush... dims had better leave the country.
