It depends on the type of cement and chemical additives they use. Hydraulic cement sets up quick, I wonder if this is what they use

Is there any basis for the discussion of this mud and cement “setting up”/ What I’ve read is they have to inject it downward forcefully enough to stop the pressure flow, and that does not appear to be happening.

But hey if it’s going to harden, good. Thought I also read that seeing a mud geyser didn’t necessarily mean failure.

Shouldn’t our brilliant government be on live explaining all this?

Thanks for that. I hope it’s also been effective at colder ocean temperatures. Hoping and praying that the odds go in their favor. we’ll know sometime tomorrow afternoon.
