Mayor? Maybe. Better shot than Speaker, I think.

Speaker of the House? He’s got to get elected AGAIN and then ... have a Dem majority and then ... get the others Dems to vote him in over senior Dems already there.

Durbin giving up Senate position? I wonder about that, unless he sees the writing on the wall ... his loss due to following Obama.

Which in turn poses the question, what’s to be done with Nancy if he moves into her domain?

>> He’s already expressed an interest in taking the mayor’s office, he’s long desired to be Speaker of the House

“taking” the mayor’s office...?

Is Rahm aware that you, like, must be *elected* by, like, actual *voters* to those jobs?

Bambi can’t just appoint you, Rahmbo. Comprende?

Stupid article. Durbin (who is another radical leftist) recently called for Sestak to tell what happened. This cannot be good news for our vendetta-bearing President, so he would not want to reward that behavior by making Durbin his Chief of Staff.

Moreover, no sitting Senator would want to leave and become Chief of Staff.

Finally, an appointment of Giannoulias would enflame Illinois’s population, which so far has been pretty quiet.

None of this speculation makes sense or is even slightly sophisticated.

Yep. “Fish” Emmanuel steps down, Turban Durbin steps in it.

Just what we need.
