BEIRUT, May 26 (KUNA) -- The Lebanese army announced on Wednesday that it launched surface-to-air missiles at Israeli fighter jets that had violated the Lebanese airspace.
A statement issued by the army directorate said that the two Israeli jets penetrated Lebanese airspace over the town of Kfar Kila in the south, heading to Shaka town.

Yeah,, and it’s not at all a norm of international law to open fire for an air traffic control violations. Again,, if a cuban jet strayed into florida, it would get intercepted and challenged, but not shot at.
And as for “who’s airspace” that only established who was overflown. Not their right to try to murder anyone who flies into it. Not in the absence of hostile intent.
Only depotic nations advance the case the instant missile attack is legal,,, Cuba, North Korea, the old USSR, Iran, Saddams old regime etc,,,
Thank GOD we have an affirmative action Community Organizer as President to handles these issues. ;)>>>>>>>>
Our petulant pablum puking president is too busy demanding that BP, “Plug the leak!”...... As if this empty head liberal arts student has the first clue about the science involved. Obama and his wussy liberal ilk hate science unless it’s phony global warming science

Do the Lebanese view the Israelis as an ally or an enemy?
I am just glad we have a nobel peace prize winner in the white house. Imagine where we might be if we didn’t have a ‘uniter’ running the show...
Do we view Cuba as an enemy or Ally? And are Cuban Jets instantly fired upon with no attempt to contact?
It’s a little odd to side with the Hezbollah position.
“Do we view Cuba as an enemy or Ally? And are Cuban Jets instantly fired upon with no attempt to contact?”
When was the last time a cuban jet overflew the U.S.?
“Its a little odd to side with the Hezbollah position.”
Hardly. I am simply stating a fact. If you are considered an enemy by another nation and you invade their territory, getting shot at should hardly be considered surprising or frankly even news. Now if the IDF planes were in their OWN airspace and got shot at? THAT would be surprising, newsworthy and I would sincerely hope that the IDF turned the launch sites into smoking craters in the planet.
Love the Morton Downey Jr. reference....
this will be another excuse for obAMa to squeeze one more vacation in between Chi land and Australia
Okay, I just read it all, very nice, reminds me alot of Chuck Misslers view on the same versus. The author seems to indicate that there is almost a battle before the battle, that is the PLO and it’s lands are gone before Ez 38 and 39 takes place. To be honest, I can see now that the US has abandoned Israel.
It’s a good read, however, I am fearful of the rapture and being left behind, though I beleive Christ is the Son of God and rose again on the third day and no that no man can enter heaving but by his blood on the cross, I am so wretched a human being and believe if the holy spirit were dwelling in my I would not think bad thoughts like I do sometimes and so forth, it worries me to no end. On the other hand, much of my life I have been sick (long story) and part of me longs to leave this world, but not unless I am going to be with the Lord.
Thank you for sharing that with me. I think it’s a pretty good take on those versus, it is indeed unfolding right before our eyes.
Mort would be doing great today.....Stirring up Tea Party rallies
Not unless you are Mexico and fly your choppers into the USA at will.
FR thread here. Border Patrol agents report Mexican military helicopter in U.S. airspace[3rd in South Texas]
Where is the USA in that text, I have read it many times.

Nowhere. Which is exactly where we’re poised to be considering the traitor in the WH.
In my view, the IDF have the same right to overfly Lebanese airspace as the United States had the right to overfly Soviet airspace with U-2 surveillance aircraft. Lebanon is a haven and refuge for Hizbollocks and other assorted terrorists groups, Lebanon is essentially a puppet state of Syria, and Syria in turn is aligned with Iran.
In other words, Israel has every right to obtain up to date intelligence data any way they have to get it, including overflying Lebanon if need be.
If the Lebanese don’t like it, screw ‘em.
Well exactly. Plus, those missiles cost money.

That’s ok...Iran will just send more...
Bump.
Idiot Moos lit up detection, targeting and missile control for a Moo agitating press report that Israel flies jets over Lebanon.
When it's on, these batteries will last little more than a minute before a visit from a Hellfire.
Very perceptive...
I blame Canada, um, I mean, I blame the Large Hadron Collider having caused a breach in the space-time continuum (or, at least it seems to have poked a good-sized hole into the inner workings of subspace and special relativity)...
How else can you explain a world where there's a dedicated America-hating Marxist in the White House?
There's nothing left to ensure that time flies like an arrow (or whatever)...
The main reason that Israel doesn’t get overrun by an enemy ground assault is that the Israeli Airforce can break-up any forming attack before it ever gets near the Israeli frontier. Israel maintains an umbrella over the entire Middle East from Turkey to Egypt, and from Cyprus to Iraq (and the Gulf Emirates). They can, and sometimes do, go where they wish.
No in a perfect world overflying a neighbor is illegal, but when the policy of those neighbors is to defeat your country and liquidate your population, we’ll it’s a test of raw military power, isn’t it?
Give me a break.
While I agree that the hezzie’s can go pound sand you have to agree that there was a reason we flew U-2’s over the USSR and not something lower and slower.
