BEIRUT, May 26 (KUNA) -- The Lebanese army announced on Wednesday that it launched surface-to-air missiles at Israeli fighter jets that had violated the Lebanese airspace.

A statement issued by the army directorate said that the two Israeli jets penetrated Lebanese airspace over the town of Kfar Kila in the south, heading to Shaka town.

letting you know what i think... well thought out and referenced pieces. i enjoyed reading them.

i am by no means an authority on the end times, but have looked forward to the final days as my faith in the lord is strong. the disappearance of the church, through the rapture, fascinated me as to how that would not turn the staunchest of sceptics to god... then came the invention of the neutron bomb...

one of many steps leading up to the culmination of all his glory.

thanks for the read.

You've given many here something to contemplate with your words.

Trust me when I say, every man and woman on this earth is subject to the same types of temptations that I'm sure you have felt and been tried with. Even me.

Thing is, even the Apostle Paul was tormented by something and when he begged God to take it away God said, "'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.'"

When I was a younger man, a guy I knew in my church was talking to one of our elders and he made the statement, "I'll be so glad when I'm your age (the gentleman was in his 50's) that way I won't be tempted to sin." I think the elderly gentleman about fell out of his seat. He told my friend, "There will never be a time when you won't be tempted or feel unworthy of God's grace."

I'm reminded of the parable of the two men praying that Jesus taught the people. It goes like this:

Luke 18:9-14, “Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: "Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, 'God, I thank You that I am not like other men - extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.'

And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me a sinner!'

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."

As long as you are that man who beat upon his chest, then you will always be mindful of God's grace and how much He loves you.

Can Obama handle a three-front war?

He can't even roll a joint without help.

No race baiting, but Israel should be allowed to defend itself when surrounded by enemies. Unless one subscribes to replacement theology that says that Israel is no longer God’s chosen people. Israel IS God’s land, and God will protect it. Christians should love and support Israel.

“No race baiting, but Israel should be allowed to defend itself when surrounded by enemies.”

Up to and including violating the airspace of one of it’s neighbors apparantly.

I shared those links so people can get a general view of what is going to happen. But I can't say I agree 100% with his views.

There is so much we don't know about this particular time in history and there is much conjecture about what will happen. I am convinced that the church will see the battle of Ezekiel 38/39. The reason I say that is because it says Israel will be seven years burying the dead. They can't do it during the Tribulation period because they will be one the run for 3.5 years. It's possible it can happen after the Tribulation but it doesn't fit most scenarios.

I believe we will see this battle, and we will see it's outcome. God, in Ezekiel, says the whole world will see his handy work and it will lead many back to faith in Him. It will also usher in another mass exodus of Jews back to Israel. It will be a terrifying time on hand, but it will be a joyous time on the other because Israel's enemies will finally be destroyed.

But, one word of caution. I believe this nation will also be judged and it's very possible that when Russia starts to invade Israel that they could launch a nuclear strike at the USA to keep us busy. Either that or God will supernaturally judge the USA Himself for the way it has strayed from its Christian heritage and beliefs.

Look I don't want to argue, we probably agree on most stuff, but I repeat, Israel is God's land. You might like this, but a key test for belivers in the end times will be weather or not they love Israel.

You are right, simply being on FR, we likely agree on most issue. Israel IS Gods’ land and it’s people are His people.

This does NOT however give them the right to violate others’ airspace and not get shot at for it.

I agree with some of your statements, and yes, even though Mr. Kelly's possible scenario gives us a good clue as to what will happen in the latter days, I'm sure things will not go exactly as he asserts.

The Rapture, the 2nd Coming, the Beast's revealing, all of these events will happen and for the most part we know the general order things will take place, but you are correct when you say that Jesus will come as a "thief in the night." The Bible even says as much.

I shared these links so that those who don't know anything about the dangerous times we live in will have some sense of what is to come and, generally, what to expect.

I am of a pre-Tribulation Rapture mindset and belive that Christians will be taken out before things really get bad, and I also believe that millions will be saved during the Tribulation but that they will have to die for their faith. But even if things don't pan out this way, I'm ready to give my life for Christ if that's what it ultimately boils down to.

Most importantly, I want to see as many people make it into the Kingdom before Satan is loosed upon the Earth. I hope we can agree on that.

Thanks for your insight my brother.

Individual man may be able to alter their own lives, but God sees all of history as if it's already been played out. He knows what will happen and when it will happen. Sin has to run its course. I wish we could that the knowledge we share and be able to change people like the leaders of Iran, Russia, China, etc, but ultimately they will meet their fate.

Though, I think we can take courage in what happened to Nineveh. They changed after Jonah warned them of their impending destruction and staved off judgment, but eventually God had to judge them accordingly.

Good thoughts though.

There will be millions saved during the Tribulation, and I'm sure it's as you suggested. Many skeptics will turn to God after we disappear. They will have to die for their faith, however, and that thought is always chilling. But I believe that God will give them supernatural courage to endure.

Thanks for your thoughts.

......They have every right to be in Lebanon or in Lebanon’s air space......

Short of a declared war, they have no right to invade Lebanese air space
