Tongue firmly in cheek, Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) on Tuesday afternoon called on reporters to demand to see the birth certificate of new Rep. Charles Djou (R-Hawaii).
As Djou (pictured here) was being sworn into office, Frank walked the hallway of the Speaker's Lobby off the House floor calling on the media to "do your job" and review Djou's papers.
It was a small bit of payback for the enormous amount of attention some conservatives (and the media) paid to the is-the-president-really-from-America controversy.

Djou should produce it right away, like any American should be able to do.
It might take me an hour or two to find mine, but I could if challenged.

Djou needs to immediately release his full birth certificate with the statement that unlike our President, I am not afraid for the American public to examine my past.
It would shame Obama (as though that's possible) and Fwanks. Make them look like the fools they are.

What happens if the says, “Sure, here it is. Where’s Obama’s?”
Repub’s won’t get an easier pitch to know out of the park.
I’m betting they whiff it.

Exactly what citizenship requirements are there for the office to which Djou was elected?
And... simply, show them, then ask if Mr. Fwank now supports verifying public officials being required to prove their eligibility for office.

Tongue firmly in cheek, Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.)Somehow I doubt the validity of that statement.

When we SEE Obama’s SEALED birth certificate, then you can see his. The hypocrisy, even in humor, is appalling. What this guy should do, is call a press conference, invite weeny mouth, and show ALL his birth certificate.

He thinks this is funny or clever? I find his statement to be a slap in the face to Americans who believe that the constitution is relevant.

check qualifications of political candidates isn’t the job of the press, it’s the secretary of state for the state. They’re the ones who fell down on the job during the last elections.
