President Obama clashes with McCain in Republican luncheon
Politico ^ | May 25, 2010 | Manu Raju

President Barack Obama battled with Senate Republicans in a tense closed-door meeting Tuesday, facing tough criticism from his GOP adversaries – including John McCain — on issues ranging from health care to border security.

Senators and other sources inside the meeting described the gathering as “testy” and “direct” – and Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) accused Obama of acting two-faced by asking for GOP support on regulatory reform only to push forward with a bill supported mainly by Democrats. Others felt that the meeting may have made already tense relations between the two parties even worse.

"The more he talked the more he got upset," Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kansas) said. “He needs to talk a valium before he comes in and talks to Republicans and just calm down, and don’t take anything so seriously. If you disagree with someone, it doesn’t mean you’re attacking their motives – and he takes it that way and tends then to lecture and then gets upset.”

Well, I would be attacking his motives.

What in the heck were the Republicans doing in a meeting with 0?

Good point. There are some people I do not get along with and the last thing I would do is agree to have a lunch meeting with them.

Ozero’s idea of going along with some GOP ideas is when their ideas coincide with his.

‘let me be clear...’

This phrase only works when smart people who have command of a situation utter it aloud to people less intelligent.

Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Chavez, Castro...all dictators or dictator wannabes act this way. It is narcissism at its finest.

I’m beginning to think that McPain will run in 2012 assuming he disposes of Hayworth this year.

He’s immature and insecure.

I would be too if I was put in a position that was way over my head, as he is.

Memo to GOP Here is the roadmap, push his buttons and push them hard. He’ll self destruct.

Obama needs to be pushed into a full meltdown in a public setting with a video record.

“The Liberal view. I mean well. I’m right about everything. I’m a good person. If you disagree with me, you are calling me a bad person. You’re not allowed to do that.”

You are almost 100% correct - you forgot: And since you don’t agree with me, YOU are obviously a heartless person who doesn’t care about the earth, animals, clean water/air, poor people, you’re a racist and you probably own one of those EVIL gun thingys!

here are three definitions of paranoia: delusions of grandeur, delusions of persecution, and retrospective falsification.

He has been doing this from day one!

So, why can’t the BLIND, DEAF and DUMB GOP see, hear and know this to be the facts?!?!?!?

How about a birth certificate, SSN, college transcript, etc. When will some one in authority draw the proper conclusions?

Ok who would have loved to be a fly on the wall during Obama’s temper tantrum..My 8 year old cousin is more mature then this scumbag we have in the White House.. I can just imagine Barry screaming “I won I won, SEIU and the media made sure I won, this is my house now, you can’t tell me what to do..Marcia Marcia Marcia”

I believe one could say he was "randomly flapping his gums".
