Everyone who’s anyone has asked/demanded that troops be moved to the Border.
This way, they can all say “Obama listened to me.” What a great campaign gift...

This is a pre-text to an Amnesty push before November unless I miss my guess. They need to cram Amnesty, Cap and Trade, and Fin Reg before we get a crack at em in the election.
Be my guess too....send the Guard to the border, declare the border secured, and then commence OPERATION EAT AMNESTY NOW AMERICA.....

Righto. Obama getting desperate.

Don’t be taken by this. This is just a political ploy to help McCain.

HUSSEIN ATTEMPTS A HEAD FAKE IN ADVANCE OF HIS FAKE NEWS CONFERENCE ON THURSDAY.
Hope his fakes are better in his b-ball game, but I suspect those fakes suck too! Again, Obama, I challenge you to a game of 1-on-1! Or you and your boys and me and my boys can play a little 21 with street rules....either way.

Unless the National Guard members are authorized to shoot to kill, I see no reason to interrupt their lives. It’d be a total waste of time.

They are not going to do anything. They did nothing when Bush sent them.

Honestly. We’ve been through this with W. What makes anyone think these troops are going to be allowed to do anything but fill out forms and wash BP victors? Will they be allowed to carry weapons? Will they have ammunition for said weapons?
We need something like the 1st Infantry Division down there on the border ready to FIGHT. THAT would put an end to this business, and yes, the 1ID could string themselves out pretty damn wide - not like they’re going to have an armored division trying to penetrate the line. I don’t think. Yet.

He said he was going to “send” them to the border. He didn’t say they were going to actually do anything once they got there.

I think you’re on to something here — this could be a good use for osama’s “civilian defense force”. Take sum inner city (gangsta) kids, run them through a couple weeks of basic, then put’em in the desert and let’em do what comes natural.

WH says Nat Guard will provide intelligence; surveillance & reconnaissance support; immediate support to counternarcotics enforcement.Nothing about stopping illegal entrants at all. Will they be passing out welfare checks to all the others that enter?
Just a bunch of PC fluff. Why bother?
To: VRWCTexan
This is how we need to secure the border.
