I'm still looking at this...
Seismographs all over recorded an odd event about 7 hours ago.
Link to the live data (which may roll off in another hour or two, but I captured the page)

Yes.
I didn’t know there was a weekly series. I’ll have to check that out on Hulu. I enjoyed all of the Tremors movies. We have the whole set on DVD. Michael Gross was hilarious as Burt Gummer.
Laz hit it hard.
scroll through the link and look at all the locations and times, all synchronized, two different events in different but widespread worldwide locations
Have they been messing around at CERN or something?
Where's Desmond when you need him?
Here was the link they included for the source data ...

Beat me to it!
That explains your black eye....it must’ve hit you right back! :P
It’s an approaching event horizon

Just me and the Mrs, sorry! ;-)
Nancy Pelosi pole-vaulting into Mexico to pick up some voters?
Sounds like something Disney would do.
Went to ATS, saw the headline, and clicked the link. Pretty obvious. Same signature worldwide.
You don’t see it on a few stations, but that is not unusual. I sometimes watch the stations around Mt. Rainier, and often something shows as a somewhat significant event on one station and doesn’t even show at all on others. I guess the waveform can echo and bounce around and even cancel itself out sometimes.
Sorta like all the toilet-flushing during the Super Bowl halftime.
Makes sense.
It is long enough to hit me in the eye.
Matthew 24:6-8
“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.”
Every time it thunders, somebody claims the end of the world is near, but please notice that this scripture (which is clearly referring to the Roman sack of Jerusalem in AD 70, then morphing into an end-times prophecy) says that “these are the beginning . . .” and that “the end is still to come.”
Probably a nuke test.
