For Roaming Palin, Home Base Is Still in Alaska

WASILLA, Alaska Stepping quickly toward his big black Dodge Ram truck, Todd Palin offered a few highlights of the weekend ahead.
An enormous structure rising beside the Palins house on Lucile Lake has people talking. Speculation has it including a television studio, among other features. Enlarge This Image
Jessica Steele, Sarah Palins hairstylist, is marketing clip-on rollers she developed. Im trying to go through every door thats opened, she said.
Opinions vary as to whether Wasilla has kept its innocence. His youngest daughter, Piper, had a dance rehearsal. His oldest son, Track, would be helping out on the sprawling new addition to the family property on Lucile Lake.
-snip-
Sarah Palins big new life is remarkable for its smallness. She is as remote as she is overexposed. Even as she travels the country stirring up Tea Party apostles, poking at opponents and building a robust bank account through speaking fees, book royalties and television contracts, she comes home to one of the more unlikely launching pads in politics and she apparently will not be pulling up stakes anytime soon.
Where else would we go? Mr. Palin said. Alaska is our home.
Things have changed, of course. Ms. Palin is often away, sometimes joined by her husband and some combination of their five children. Her father, Chuck Heath, who lives in town, said in a recent interview that he had not seen her in a month. While people say that Piper might turn up at Wasilla Bible Church with a cousin and that her parents attend community basketball games, sightings are far less frequent than they were when Ms. Palin was governor and friends from high school bumped into her at the Wal-Mart Supercenter.

The N.Y. Slimes tried their utmost to destroy Sarah Palin. Now they are forced to treat her like a real person, but still are like a venenous snake, caught in the concentrated stare of a mongoose. Palin is not through with them yet and they know it, they have treated her so terribly badly and the shiver at the thought of what she could do to them should she become president.
She scares the bejassus out of them.

so the media is more obsessed in finding dirt on private citizen palin than they are of obama, president of the usa. So anyone got photos of obama’s $1.2+ million property? And any curiosity on whats going on in there?

So, did they quote Sarah’s new neighbor McGinnis? That slimeball just rented the house next to Palin’s...

Here’s a link the the thread about her new neighbor. From this post of Palin’s I’d say that no matter what that big building is, there will be a fence up within the next week... Perhaps the NY Times should take the opportunity to see how quickly a fence can really be built when one wants or NEEDS one! LOL

They call him Mr. Palin and her Ms. Palin because they are 1. the NYT and always incorrect, and 2. they are so scared of a Mrs. running for president....what would those femi-nazis think.......I hate the NYT more everytime they don't use the correct Mrs.

If you think they choke when they address her as Mrs. Palin, just think what will happen when they have to address her as “Madame President.” Their heads will explode!

Somehow I’m missing “an enormous structure” in that picture!?

Carl Rove really ticks me off. Everytime he is asked about Palin he always seems to put in a jab of some sort he just can’t support her.

Whoa! She lives in a 3,400 sq ft house??? What is she, rich or something??
LOL. MY house is 3,400 sq ft too! I must be rich! Well, not really. And it sounds a lot bigger than it is--we've only got 5 people and two cats here and we're pretty full. :-)
These reporters keep trying to slide in little snarky remarks about how much the governor earns, why don't they go after HOLYO with the same intensity??? Why does HE AND MO get a free pass all the time, even now???

Mr. Palin started to pull away, then he stopped and leaned toward the window. He emphasized that he did not want to be misrepresented by a reporter.
What goes around comes around, he said, still smiling.
LOL! This is the guy who finish one of those Alaskan races with a broken arm before getting help for it! I'd listen REAL carefully to what he has to say, you hear that, yellow journalists? ;-)
Can't wait until Todd is OFFICIALLY "First Dude" of the United States of America!! :-)

Ms. Heath is among those who help care for Trig, 2, who has Down syndrome. She also helps go through the hundreds of letters Ms. Palin receives asking her to speak at or attend various events. Mr. Heath said he was careful about nudging his daughter toward the things that interest him.
I dont want to push the wrong button with Sarah, he said. Besides, she doesnt make the decisions. Let me retract that. Im sure she thinks them over and she has a lot of say as to yes and no.
Oooops.
Well, that explains a lot.
