The only term used in federal laws for people who come in illegally, or remain illegally, is “illegal alien.” Thus the term “immigrant” is not accurate for them, when referencing federal law.
The main reasons people are denied legal entry into this country or work permits is criminal history, or attempting to use false documents. Many who cross illegally cannot get legal paperwork.

UDA for undocumented alien is a term I hear used by Border Patrol- even though the term illegal alien is in immigration laws I think in order to be politically correct they are changing the term to UDA. They don’t want to use the term illegal don’t you know~ makes it harder to promote amnesty.

The best way to end the illegal problem is to severely punish people who hire these folks. This article shows the clear linkage between availability of jobs and the presence of these people. All of them won’t self deport but enough will to make the effort worth it. Sadly Bush wasn’t willing to push this and Joker won’t either.

Every amnesty, legalization, path to whatever that has come up for discussion includes a guest worker program. Do we really need more of this??? Because they won’t leave, either...until we can’t give them what they want and they’ll go back where their allegiance is. Mexico.

Illegals are leaving. I find it insulting everytime these individuals are referred to as immigrants.
It is a slap in the face to every wonderful immigrant who has come here, followed the process to citizenship and made a contribution to our country.
