The only term used in federal laws for people who come in illegally, or remain illegally, is “illegal alien.” Thus the term “immigrant” is not accurate for them, when referencing federal law.
UDA for undocumented alien is a term I hear used by Border Patrol- even though the term illegal alien is in immigration laws I think in order to be politically correct they are changing the term to UDA. They don’t want to use the term illegal don’t you know~ makes it harder to promote amnesty.
