A political blogger is claiming he had a "inappropriate physical relationship" with South Carolina Republican gubernatorial candidate Nikki Haley.
Haley has "categorically" denied the accusation by Will Folks, a former spokesman for Gov. Mark Sanford who now blogs and has done paid public relations work for politicians – including Haley.
"Several years ago, prior to my marriage, I had an inappropriate physical relationship with Nikki," Folks wrote on his site, FITSnews.com. "It is what it is, and aside from the Haley family – Michael, Nikki, Rena and Nalin – I feel no need to apologize or explain myself to anyone. People are human. We make mistakes."
In a statement, Haley denied an improper relationship.
“I have been 100 percent faithful to my husband throughout our 13 years of marriage,” Haley said in a statement sent via her campaign this morning. “This claim against me is categorically and totally false.

You’re correct...it’s a shame how many people don’t know how difficult defamation/slander law is...especially when it comes to a public figure.

Those of us in SC who’ve known anything about Will Folks have known he’s toast for some time now. The ONLY thing this could do is ingratiate him to (1) the ONE particular Republican candidate who put him up to it — and I can’t WAIT to find out which scum bag DID it, becuase his career in SC and beyond is OVER, and (2) to ingratiate himself to the Democrats, who THRIVE on this kind of Chicago-style, dirty-pool thugery. His future looks QUITE BRIGHT with them.
On what basis do you claim this is a Bauer smear? Not that I doubt it — but if this IS a Bauer campaign thing — I want to dedicate the next two weeks of my life to making Andre Bauer as big a HAS BEEN in South Carolina as I did David Beasley back in 1998. And I’m quite certain I’ll enjoy it ALMOST as much — IF the Bauer connection can be substantiated!
I’ve been telling my Indian colleagues at work that there’s a chance that America will get its second State Governor of Indian descent. It puts smiles on their faces.

The Democrats tried this with John McCain during the primary and got nowhere, but neither did the law suit. Even after it was found to be a false allegation, the press never made any retractions.
This guy’s a real creep and I hope that he suffers the same fate as Bush’s failed spokesman, Scott McClellan. He kind of reminds me of Scott in the picture, too.
Wow, that picture sure doesn’t look anything like the mild looking guy in the other picture. Sic Willies sounds more like Sick Willy. I can’t imagine how anyone could hire him and it doesn’t look even remotely possible that this story could be true. He would never appeal to this woman.

I think my husband said it was gresham barrett “forced” him to make the false allegation. What “forces” you to lie like that? Money? Blackmail?

he was the person who leaked that Sanford scandal and then he demanded Sanford to resign since he was the Next in line to be Governor.
