1. Go to google.com
2. Enter “finding Chuck Norris” as the search term
3. Click I’m Feeling Lucky button
Results -> “Google won’t search for Chuck Norris. Google knows you dont find Chuck Norris... He finds you!”

I suggest taking a copy of the health care bill and stuff it down the hole. That should be big enough to clog it up. One methane belch taking out the other?

What they need is an industrial strength pipe crimper along with someone who is qualified to use it...

Hope the casing below the BOP is in good shape, they are going to be pumping like hell into it.
It is not an operation without the danger of making matters worse.

I just come back from fishing in the Barataria Bay area near the coast on Thursday. Not a sheen to be seen. Plenty of shrimp boats working the area before the oil arrives.
A friend that fished Friday said oil has made it into the area I was in the day before. But it was in small patches of thick tarry, and not the liquid sheen.
Fried some trout tonight, and no taste of oil. Was very good.

It probably would have stopped the leak long enough so they could tap into the vein. It would have been better than leaving it uncovered

Ridiculous! We have had larger spills without such events. Why do you make this crap up? Yeah, I must be delusional. Or suicidally depressed. Just ignore me, and assume all the stats you've been fed are valid, and that this Coup will do everything it can to save the capitalist culture of the Gulf.

Do you realize without the box in the way, earlier this week they inserted a tool into the riser and are now pulling 5,000 BPD directly to a ship instead of letting spill into the ocean?
The box didn't contain the pressure and the oil would just continue to leak out. It was a failed attempted. It was worth trying; it has worked at lower depth but the pressure/temperature combination formed methane hydrates and would not allow the oil to flow up through their new riser.

If Red Adair were alive, he would know what to do! The things Terminator could never do even in movies. Red's company is still around I think. But I don't remember any offshore stuff with Red. Just those huge blasts that sucked the oxygen out of the well on land.

HOG WASH...the oceans and the air are much more resilient than we can even contemplate. Oil has been leaking into the oceans for a long time, undersea volcanoes, sulfur plumes etc.
I’ll stock pile a couple tons of SPAM just in case tho!

Well, we often talk of turning sand into glass via nuke...
If we chain, say, 100 junk cars together in a tornado-shaped plug, each car loaded with tons of sand, plug the hole and nuke the cars from the inside to glass everything up, would that work?

That I had already figured out. Go surfing, fool. And send us a postcard from the beach.
You really have no idea what's going on.
None whatsoever.

You really have no idea what's going on. Yes, tell me all about what I don't know. I'm really interested in learning.
Strange isn't it that this is a magic well according to some of the huge flow number claimed. More oil being produced from this unprepared well. All those oil companies wasting money on other producing fields doing treatments like fracturing to get flow rates 1/10th of what some are claiming this magic well is now flowing.
The video is now real time, always available. They are pulling 5,000 BPD now from the insertion tube from the leak that was providing about 85% of the spill.
But don't worry about actual facts, keep to your delusions.
