Rand Paul is too libertarian for my taste but I’d vote for him any day. He is pretty frisky to say the least!

He will easily win this race due to his fighting spirit

A— That civil rights misstep only matters inside the DC Beltway and by canceling Face the Nation he’s not feeding the DC denizens

B— Media inquisitors better be ready to be accused of parroting Democrat talking points. All Rand has to do keep up with the “Democrat talking points” mantra

I would not want a libertarian legislature, but having a dozen or more in there to shake the tree is a good thing. They can ask questions and broach topics the mainstream Republicans never would. It gets the discussion going. So while I am not libertarian and don’t want such governance, I hope we get a lot more people like Rand to put pressure on the GOP to reduce the size of government and keep these topics going in the public discussion.
