I would not want a libertarian legislature, but having a dozen or more in there to shake the tree is a good thing. They can ask questions and broach topics the mainstream Republicans never would. It gets the discussion going. So while I am not libertarian and don’t want such governance, I hope we get a lot more people like Rand to put pressure on the GOP to reduce the size of government and keep these topics going in the public discussion.

EXACTLY! Libertarians keep people on their toes and take nothing for granted. They push and stimulate in the right direction. Such as Ron Paul wanting an audit of the Federal Reserve and he got quite a few Reps signing on with him. But rule by libertarians would never work. Too isolationist. You just can't wish the world's problems away. They will impact you even if you ignore them

Rand Paul said some dumb things about the BP spill today. He better be careful. I would vote for him over any Democrat.
