You nailed it. King Bill wants open borders and amnesty- but he doesn’t want NM, especially Albq. and Santa Fe to become like CA. So he is quietly doing some things in my area to help secure the border (too little too late I think but we will see) he also ramped up LEO along the border. I am not surprised at this news really- our politicians are so crooked they don’t want to spend much on illegals; they want as much as possible for their own pockets.
I didn’t mean to imply the new mayor of Albq. is a crook; I don’t know anything about the mayor. Our state is full of crooked politicians and the mayor will likely get state support or at least state politicians won’t bring negative attention to this because they really don’t want illegals getting money they could maybe pocket.

I think Nucci finally got tired of him and banned him. He’d done it once before but relented.
I think CFA had some sort of health problems, so it’s possible he croaked too.
