Maybe the entire city should send an invite to Obama.

In the first week they uncovered 31 illegals, about 10% of the total arrested. They were busted for everything from DWI to rape to attempted murder.
The local sentiment is overwhelmingly for this policy.
Like the Arizona law, it is great for smoking out the moonbats. They can’t resist screaming racism.

Richardson has noting to do with it, it’s all Albuquerque’s new Republican Mayor Richard Berry.

Kudos to the new Mayor.
He at least ‘gets it”.

Texas, Nebraska, Maryland and Pennsylvania are all considering laws similar to Arizona.
Now Albuquerque turns 180 degrees.
Cool. We’re going to enforce the law.

Hearing about this, it sounds oddly like the new Arizona law. They check criminals’ immigration status at a new detention center, where ICE has office space. I heard on the radio yesterday, that after a week they had found about 53 illegals (don’t know out of how many).
I wonder when LA will boycott ABQ.

New Albuquerque Mayor Richard Berry keeping a campaign promise.
