The religious police are part of the deal that the Sauds made with the Wahhabi sect back in the day.
This won’t be pretty.
I spent Desert Shield/Desert Storm in Riyadh, and absolutely detest the Mutawin(which is what the religious police are called there).
At least he will always be known to the other thugs as "the guy who got beat up by a girl".

How I wish that every sensible American had a chance to visit Saudi Arabia and spend just one day there — especially during ‘prayer time’. There would be a total riot in America.
Or perhaps not. I really don’t know how many sensible Americans are still left in this country.
Saudi “religious police” are cowardly slime, and probably got into their foul job as a method of sublimating their repressed longings to bugger each other, small children, and/or camels.
“People are fed up with these religious police, and now they have to pay the price for the humiliation they put people through for years and years. This is just the beginning and there will be more resistance.”
Hopefully this will happen more often. There should be an underground industry in which women are taught martial arts.
I saw somewhere an article proposing that women (perhaps much like this one) should be recruited by the CIA for work in the Middle East, as they have the least connection and most disdain for the hard-core Islamist regimes.
Sounds like this couple is well-matched. He collapses under stress when the religious police question him, she pummels the arrogant religious police jerk bad enough that he has to be carted off to the hospital.
And in the privacy of one of his palaces, King Abdullah is laughing gleefully and hollering “You go, girl!”.

I’ve never quite understood how it was okay for the religious police to spend their days wandering around approaching women they’re not related to.
I recall that one strategem used in WWII was to drop "Liberator" pistols over occupied Europe. They were cheap little things, only good for one shot each -- but if a Resistance member made that shot count, he would then "inherit" a better weapon from a German soldier.
Since the Saudi king opened a coed university and banned the religious police from the campus, I think their days are numbered. As more and more women and men graduate and enter adult society after spending 4 years on a coed campus with no religious police, there will soon be a critical mass of young Saudi adults who simply won’t put up with this crap.
I’d bet all the oil under Saudi Arabia that a significant portion of the “religious police” routinely take advantage of opportunities to overlook some woman’s “sins” in return for a “favor”....
Hopefully she was wearing her burkah so that she can’t be identified.
