Is Mexico Dictating U.S. Law?

Mexico President Calderon stands before the American Congress and tells them that Arizona law is a bad idea and he “strongly disagrees” with it. At which that point, Congress gives rousing applause!! Since when do we allow ANYONE, especially from a failing country, to dictate our laws to US? Do we CARE if they think it’s a bad idea? Or do we do what is in the best interest of our country and uphold the current laws on our federal books? President Calderon, along with President Obama and the rest of Congress who applaud this, are a disgrace to this country.

They would applaude Bin Laden himself if he said he was against the Arizona law.

This is a fake controversy, and for certain Calderon knows that its a fake controversy.

As others have noted, Mexico’s own immigration policies are more strict than our own.

And as others have noted, there isn’t a country in the world where foreigners aren’t required to carry passport and ID on them at all times.

And in every Latin American country, the citizens themselves are required to carry proof of citizenship on them. He knows that because he lives it. He is the driving force behind Mexico’s new improved high-tech national ID card which he is rolling out this summer. So, while at a certain level Calderon is a good man, on this issue he is a big phony.

I can’t get over this Mexican el presidente.

His country sucks so badly his people are fleeing in droves then he criticizes us for trying to prevent our country from sucking as badly as his.

It sounds like I may have done something wrong.. I’m new to this site- but didn’t know you could provide additional urls. I’ve posted a handful of articles and never directed anyone to my site before. But I’m definitely not sure why you would be so offended by that?

Rush was all over this today. He played Calderon's speech to congress and then contrasted it with questions about Mexico's immigration policy in an interview with CNN’s Wolfe Blitzer last night. Very revealing . It was must listen to radio. Rush at his best. I hope somebody downloads the recording so we can all listen to it.

Guess Calderon’s approval is more important to the Congressional Clown Car than the 70% of the voters who support Arizona.

He does this because he knows he can count on our ‘leaders’ and the lsm to roll over and pee on themselves when he does.

It sounds like I may have done something wrong..

Utilizing FR as a business platform to pimp a blog is just fine with you?

but didn’t know you could provide additional urls.

Copy and paste is an awesome tool.

I’ve posted a handful of articles and never directed anyone to my site before.

So I have noted.
Snatching a video, sticking it on your blog, and posting a teaser
and directing folks to your blog to see the video is blatant blog pimping.

You disagree? Did you make the video? Did you post it to Youtube?

No.

So why not just post the video link?

Answer: Trolling for blog hits.

They would applaud Bin Laden himself if he said he was against the Arizona law anything conservatives favor.

I believe the above correction more generally defines the leftist mindset.

The Presdient of the United States is tasked with protecting the states against invasion. He not only refuses to do it, but he supports making illegal immigrants legal. He swore he would protect and preserve the U.S. Constitution, and this is just one example of him failing to do so.

The Presdient of the United States is tasked with obeying the laws of our nation. Yet this president has not only refused to do so, he ridicules states who are trying to.

The President of the United States is treading on very very thin ice when he joins the leader of a foreign nation to condemn our laws and those why are trying to adhere to them. And yet he does so.

Do any of these actions represent an impeachable moment? I think it’s a good question to ponder. Once again, looking for that proverbial spine in the midst of the Republican leaders in Washington, D.C.

With no evidence of such a spine, it’s just baffling to me why these particular Republicans wanted to lead in the first place. They rubber stamp most of what Obama wants, if not by reaching out, by simply keeping quiet while Rome burns.

And once again I am faced with the fact that as a Conservative, I could throw one dice and possible hit a number larger than how many elected officials in Washington, D.C. have any clue what Conservatism is.

Just one question folks... should our party be upset that Obama and his minions have violated our Constitution a number of times?

Let me see, where is that definition of anarchy? It’s around here somewhere.

an·ar·chy

1. a state of society without government or law.

If our government is not going to abide by the laws of our nation, do we have a legitimate government?

Do we have formal laws any longer?

Are we in a sense in a state of anarchy? There are a number of interesting questions floating around these days.

So you think we’d enforce that one? Sorry Dale, or course you’re right but I couldn’t resist playing the devil’s advocate on this one.

I hope that when they were giving Calderon the “rousing applause”, there were cameras on each and every one of them, so that the images can be used in campaign ads in every single district this fall, so as to inform voters where these traitors’ sympathies really lie.

Again, if my intent was to troll for blog hits I would have done that with all of my postings. This was no teaser- it was the exact same thing I posted on my blog, minus the video, which I tried to put directly in the FR article section but could not. And again, I didn’t realize that there were self-professed blog police on the site. But had you been right (which you aren’t), I do figure that people on FR are smart enough to determine if they want to visit a blog or not. But thanks for the lesson.
