Mexico's President Blasts Arizona Immigration Law During White House Visit

Mexican President Felipe Calderon seized the opportunity to blast Arizona's controversial immigration law on Wednesday after President Obama welcomed him to the White House.

Mexican President Felipe Calderon seized the opportunity to blast Arizona's controversial immigration law on Wednesday after President Obama welcomed him to the White House.

Arizona's law, which takes effect in July, will call for state and local police to determine if people are in the country illegally.

At the start of Wednesday's state visit to Washington, Calderon said the law discriminated against Mexicans and called for the two countries to work together to develop an immigration policy that did not force people to live in the shadows "with such laws as the Arizona law, which is forcing our people to face discrimination."

Mexico’s leaders always blast us for anything we do with our without this AZ law.

I just don’t understand the constant cow-towing by our government to these people.

A big part of the Mexican economy is the money being sent back by illegals in the U.S.

Perhaps he should call the illegals back to Mexico where they will be safe from our evil laws. Please.

Great, just what was needed. The WH as a backdrop and forum for a foreigner to come into our country and malign our states and their citizens trying to enforce legitimate laws. Laws that are weaker than the laws of that worthless despot and his country.

B0 deliberately gave him the forum to do so. He’s an enemy of the state.

FUB0 and FU calderon!!

Flappin' in the wind. Mexico's President does not treat illegal immigrants to his country the way he wants this country to treat illegals from Mexico.

Bite me, taco man.

When do we get to read about the Great One’s grovel to Mexico and our apology for how the U.S. caused the conditions in Mexico which compels so many to seek refuge in the U.S. And for those criminals who come here can we expect to be told the U.S. is sorry for escalating the border violence by defending ourselves?

Mexico's President Blasts Arizona Immigration Law During White House Visit.

I am sure he is disturbed by the fact that AZ's law is not strong enough. It should at least be as strong as Mexico's own immigration laws.
