Good for her, wish it were me. Though I'd feel bad about knowing there are such altruistic people out there, (like some on this thread), who would absolutely refuse the money if offered to them.

Why? There are recovering alcoholics making speeches about not falling into their mistakes, same with former drug addicts. If there are people who are willing to pay to listen to her, more power to her.

Before we rejoice, I think she might not exactly be a great asset, and in fact, I think shes going to spend some time bashing her mother and blaming all her ills on Mom.
And you base that conclusion on what?
Provide one shred of evidence to support your conclusion.
Anything, something she has said, something, please?

Exactly!
Especially, since her message is one of Don't do what I did, wait for marriage.
She is the perfect object lesson, she may actually perform some good by doing this.
On a second note, it really is amazing to see the snarky comments from conservatives primarily because they don't like Sarah Palin.
PDS is alive and well!

I was sure the individual admission price was $30,000.00 each./s. The stupid girl is famous for shaming her family name, but people like you think it is groovy that she is chasing fame in the name of "taking care of her family". Whatever you need to believe!!!

Putting it away for her and her sons education. I bet! No doubt.

I wish my 19 year old could go on the circuit at $30,000 a whack. His message would be “Why I am such a stud” (He has always had a healthy self image, LOL)
Seriously, more power to her. I am willing to bet these past few years have been a time of personal growth for her. It will be refreshing to have someone her age with her message on the National Stage.

She isn't as stupid as one who would state:
" How many pregnant teenage girls are going to pay $30,000.00 to hear her speak? NONE."
By the way, if you were offered 30k to speak before a group would you accept or decline? And please, don't lie.

Hey now, don’t go bringing simple, straightforward logic into this. Some of these creeps are too busy being “outraged, outraged, I say!” :)

Nice mouth. You might feel more at home at DU or Kos with language like that. It's no surprise that you're on pins & needles to hear the musings of a teenage unwed mother.
Whatever you pretend to be, you clearly aren't a conservative.
To: SoConPubbie
"She is the perfect object lesson, she may actually perform some good by doing this. " Perfect object lesson? What planet are you living on? How has Bristol Palin suffered because of her pregnancy?
How many teenage unwed mothers do you know that have made multiple appearances on Oprah? That have been on the View? Who have allegedly signed book deals? That have been giving speaking roles on popular tween television shows? And are poised to collect substantial 5-figure fees for talking about their lives?
She has been sending precisely the wrong message, not the right on. Rather than doing the hard work, like enrolling in a 4-year college to be able to make a life for yourself, which is what a normal teenage mother should aspire to do, she's cashing in on her mother's fame. As I said, she's famous for being famous, and for getting knocked up in high school, nothing more. What words of wisdom she can share with other high school girls, when her reality is so absolutely foreign to theirs, is a mystery.

If she gives speeches advocating abstinence, using her own untimely pregnancy as an Object Lesson; dont be surprised if the sperm donor demands half her speaking fees for his services! On what grounds?
They were never married..
He's not gonna get a penny of her money.
