Former First Lady Laura Bush has come out against the Arizona immigration law, pointing to the discrimination that her own Irish ancestors, named Welch, faced in their time.
In an interview with Fox News, Bush said the new law merely showed an upsurge in prejudice similar to what her Irish ancestors faced.

And if they were named "Welch" wasn't it more likely they were Welsh?
Stupid wife of Globalist.
Look who he has endorsed: Kay Barely Republican, Meg Whittman and Trey Grayson.
My post had nothing to do with gender identification either, I said the Dick Cheney is pushing the radical, left wing, homosexual agenda.
Dick Cheney’s entire family has joined in that crusade, they have definitely joined the Mitt Romney camp.
Homosexualizing the American military is no answer to terrorism and war fighting challenges.
Look folks...if another Bush inhabits the White House, we’re all screwed...
our Irish ancestors legal or not did come in the 10s of millions, or demand they get free lunches for their kids while everyone else had to buy theirs, nor did they demand that they get health care by trying to take away everyone else plan, nor they did not demand everyone speak Gaelic , if they had people would be as pissed off as they are about the citizens of mexico some of whom think they are above any laws such as driving without insurance social security fraud, and many of the rest whom deny to speak out against the disregard for law and order. If more people spoke out, just regarding the graftti alone, just that one issue, then maybe we could accept another 30 million immigrants , or maybe not, but first lets agree that there are laws here, there is peoples property that needs to be respected, our property does not belong to anyone to paint on, or to redistribute by politicians for votes, Ms Bush!
Name me one presidents wife that was not a liberal...Please don’t say Nancy Reagan, before you check out all the things she has said and done.
My ancestors on both sides of my family are Irish - Catholic Irish, and there's a big difference between the Protestant (often Scots-Irish) and Catholic Irish in the history of the US. Even a lot of the names are different. Kelly, O'Leary, Ryan, Callahan, McCarthy. Compared to Webb, Jackson, McCain, and Crockett, Arthur, McKinley, which are more often Scots-Irish.
Those who came before me didn't have affirmative action, had to deal with "No Irish need apply," no welfare, and dealt with institutional discrimination. Most also became citizens the old fashion way. They grabbed a rifle and fought for it, becoming Americans.
Many Mexicans became and have become Americans (and those I know hate the illegals more than the gringos do). Those I have no problem being here. I have a big problem with the assholes demanding all these welfare benefits, demanding citizenship, pushing for Aztlan and these LaRaza punks, and the gangsters running drugs on the borders, and crying racism when they don't get their way. Because Laura's husband did such a piss poor job, you have Arizona being forced to do the job for him.
That is a disturbing question, have any of them even been pro-life?
It has to do with their mexican housekeeper...
You will never find the perfect conservative....never!
“I thought Laura was a librarian?”
She enrolled in a few hours after meeting Dubya to keep his family happy, particularly his mother, but not many know that her real love was roller derby.
She was good at it, too, serving as the “anchor” on the `Dallas Dolls’ team in the southwestern semi-pro circuit. Her nickname was `Lightnin’ Laura’.
Sorry. You didn’t phrase it in the form of a question.
“Name me one presidents wife that was not a liberal...Please dont say Nancy Reagan, before you check out all the things she has said and done.”
Martha Washington????
Puke.
ROTFLOL!
Just what I was going to say.
Laura Bush -
1. Pro-Amnesty - Check
2. Pro-Abortion - Check
3. Pro-Gay Marriage - Check
4. Pro-Sotomayor - Check
5. Pro-Kagan - Check
Laura Bush is a big liberal and anyone who says otherwise is a bigger tool than she is.
