Hey Laura, it's not about the sex of the candidate. It's about respect for the constitution.

I have absolute contempt for George W. Bush. Now I’m not too crazy about his wife. In fact, I hope never to see another Bush in public office. They just can’t be trusted.

I’ve always had a suspicion that the former First Lady was a full-bird liberal. Makes me wonder how influential she was in some of her husgband’s particularly stupid and ill informed budget busting stupidities: No Child Left Behind, Prescription Drugs and all the kissy face stupidity with democRats, looking the other way on Sandy Burglar, Harriet Myers, immigration reform.
Hmmmmm.....

“I think she sounds like a very interesting and good nominee,” Bush said of Sonia Sotomayor, the federal appeals judge Obama picked.
Mrs. Bush said in an interview broadcast Monday on ABC’s “Good Morning America” that “as a woman, I’m proud that there might be another woman on the court. I wish her well.”

Now it becomes more clear why GW Bush was so confused and wishywashy about so many domestic policies. Look at what he had to listen to at home. She posed as a quiet supportive deferential First Lady but probably nagged him like a fishwife.

Both sides paly identity politics.

Laura bush, what an idiot. If there were two men on the court would she think its great to nominate adolph hitler?
