Can you recommend a CCW weapon (vanity)

I just got my CCW renewed. I used to carry my S&W model 39 in 9mm. either in a belt angled holster or an under the arm counterbalanced sling holster. However, its kind of large and I'm looking for something more comfortable. I'm looking for ideas. I don't read a lot of guns and ammo threads but i trust by brother freepers to give some good advice.

What do i want it for? Just protection. I'm looking for reliability, concealment, ease of movement, ease of draw and accuracy for close in protection.

Thanks

I like my Springfield .40 XD sub-compact very easy to hide and will pack more of a punch than a 9mm. Also, .40 bullets are everywhere including Wally world.

I’m liking my S&W MP in .45.A little bulky but I trust a .45 to get the job done.

I just got the Sig 232 in Stainless. Came with Trijicon night sites.

I lke it. Search the reviews.

Before we start the Mouse Gun replies:

Yes, yes, I have 9's, the .45 ACP, etc.etc, etc.

This is comfortable to carry and the gun you do not have with you does no good.

Here’s an honest review of several Conceal-Carry handguns that helped me in my decision making process:

BTW - I carry a glock .40 S&W.

Cheers

Are flamethrowers considered to be firearms?

Seecamp .32
The gun is very reliable with Winchester Silvertip ammo, and fits nice and flat in your jeans pocket. You can stroll right into a stadium while security is checking the ladies’ purses.

Taurus Judge in 45-.410
Bond Arms Snake Slayer 45-.410
Both fun to shoot as .45 long colts.

And both of them will shoot trap and Skeet!

Ruger SR9 in a Gun Tee shirt holster. I can hide my P90 under my arm with one that I picked up at a show not long ago. The SR9 is absolutely invisible. http://www.guntee.com

I like my Glock 19. It is a compact but has 15 rnd mags. I carry it in an inside-the-pant holster.

A no brainer,

SW airweight hammerless with 38+P ammo.

Very easy to conceal.
Extremely light weight.
Very Loud.
Perp cannot grab barrel,
No Magazine springs to wear out.
Virtually maintenance free.
Cannot block the hammer with a thumb.
Cannot jam.
In case of misfire, pull the trigger again.
Can be palmed by most men.
Just pull the trigger.

If 5 hollow points do it you’re toast anyway.

Not sexy but very utilitarian.

I carry a GLOCK G26 daily.

Easy to conceal, very accurate, 100% reliable.

Some people don’t like them because of the lack of an external safety. GLOCK all have three internal safeties that all come down too: if you don’t pull the trigger, the gun won’t fire.

My second favorite is the XD9SC. Very similar to the G26 but with the addition of a grip safety.
