U.S. House candidate Chris Nelson earlier this week dismissed “birther” statements attributed to him and said he believes Barack Obama is a natural-born U.S. citizen and the legitimately elected president of the United States.
So does Eleanor Nordyke — and according to her, she should know.
Nordyke, 82, of Honolulu, Hawaii, says that on Aug. 4, 1961, she was in labor with her twin daughters Susan and Gretchen at Kapiolani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital — the same place Barack Obama was being born. The hospital has since been renamed Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children.
“Birthers” is the term given to those who believe Obama was not born in the United States and does not, therefore, meet a primary qualification for the presidency.
Nordyke, in a Friday telephone interview with The Daily Republic, said the birthers have consistently discounted her testimony. She is certain they are wrong.

Grandma was so old and decrepit by that time (read this on FR long time ago) that it would have been hard for her to travel. A photo of Grandma, 0thugga, Mrs 0thugga and 0’s sister and family in HI from quite a few years ago (Michelle being preg IIRC) shows Grandma so bent over she can’t even sit up straight.
Be interesting to see some evidence of a cruise other than this one “memory” of Nordyke’s.

This could all be solved by Obamao releasing his records, including his COLB just like every other President has done. Just like any one of us would have to in order to apply for a job with the Federal government.
Instead Obamao has spent a small fortune on lawsuits, hush money, bribes, etc. to keep all of his records hidden. One of the first acts he did as President was to issue an executive order sealing all of his records.
We all seem to forget that people who worked for one of Obama’s biggest supporters were found to be accessing and possibly tampering with his passport/State Dept. records. The fact that they also went through Clinton and McCain’s records was just to throw people off-both of them have been public officials for decades with known schedules.

What is he so afraid of in those records? I am beginning to suspect that there is something much worse then his not being an American citizen. Much worse.
The NBC requirement is not that his father be born in the U.S., rather, it's that his father was not a U.S. citizen at the time of Zero's birth.
His son, zero, isn't a NBC.
It’s funny that they are using an old woman and her memories of birth announcements in the newspaper for documentation that Obama was born in Hawaii.
Why not release his $12 birth certificate?
I don’t know about other folks, but the idea I would know the names of other parents and their kids in the maternity ward when my two children were born is patently absurd.
As for the birth record numbers, that would seem to be something that would be a product of the country seat, not the individual hospital, although the hospital may have a record number and I may be wrong on that count.
That’s an important aspect of this, because if it was a product of the county seat, it would be easy for Obama to have been born in Kenya, his parents to have filed papers at the county seat, and his record number there to be a few numbers off from the child of this lady.
She admits she didn’t meet Obama’s parents. And although she remembers him at school where her kids attended, that has nothing to do with the location of his birth.
It seems to me this lady is mixing things she does remember with things she has no way of remembering.

Where is the birth certificate that was issued in the hospital?
I gather the numbers that she gave are like the numbers on the “certification” forms, not the real certificate.
How does Hawaii assign numbers on the “certification” ?
They do not seem to resemble the numbering system on the hospital BC.
Again, this is a REAL birth certificate, as made out in the hospital.

This is all that us birthers want to see.
As for citizenship of father, and all of that mess, it would be up to a long line of court battles to say if
that would disqualify him. I think maybe not.
And then died.
My guess as to why they don't release the certificate...at this point it solves no problems (from Obama's perspective) and perpetuates a group of people he can point to as victimizing him.
The fact of the matter is, it's all moot because his father was a British subject, so Obama isn't a natural born citizen...and therefore not eligible to be president.
But this nation no longer runs under the constitution, so I really don't expect anything to change.

Obama has spent a TON of **taxpayer** money!!! Please, please, please remember that it is the money of U.S. citizens!!
Obama is misusing and wasting U.S, attorney time and DOJ resources to hide common documents that unanointed Americans routinely release for many reasons.
Obama has, and is, distracting U.S. attorneys from their important job of getting the “bad guys”. Obama did this when plots were being laid to:

Yes, I am personally outraged that Obama would **do** that! Yes, I am having a minor temper tantrum. And...While I know that the mainstream media is utterly infested with Marxists, I am appalled that the conservative media would ignore this!
I remember ONE mom from my many and several childbirths.
With my first kid - I had to share a room - they medivacced a girl in from an Indian reservation having a bad time with twins - her family kept me up all night with the stupid tv. When I asked them to please turn it down they said nothing, turned it down for five minutes, then blared it for the rest of the stupid night while they all talked and carried on. I begged for a room of my own, going crazy without any sleep, and was given one.
I don’t know ANY of their names. All I can tell you is a girl with an unbelievably nasty family was medivacced in with a difficult delivery of twins.
The article seems incoherent and also doesn’t provide testimony of anything. The birth announcement appeared before the baby was born? That makes no sense.
Also I had several children in a hospital, and I remember nothing about the women next to me except one had a very ill child. That was twenty years ago, and I wouldn’t recognize her if she showed up at my front door.
She was not only loaded, she was “connected”.
They can say whatever they want which is usually nothing.
There still isn’t any proof.
There was a little girl born in the hospital a day or so before I gave birth. I don’t remember the mother or father’s name, but I remember the little girl’s full name, and I remember that the mother said, “Come on, Crystal, it’s time for your peanut butter and jelly sandwich” when she was picking up the baby to nurse her.
She was the only other baby at the hospital, which averaged a baby a day.
If this Mrs. Nordyke really remembers the birth of Obama, where are the details? Just saying that she must have been in the hospital at the same time because it’s the right time frame doesn’t mean anything; I’m sure most of us have been in the hospital at the same time as other people. It doesn’t mean we saw them.
Nothing new here. Just a few of the same discredited supports like “Hawaii officials have repeatedly confirmed Obama’s citizenship, saying they have seen his birth certificate.” and the birth notices in the newspaper. It doesn’t matter where he was born his father was a British subject.
