Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr., who has been critical of Arizona's new immigration law, said Thursday he hasn't yet read the law and is going by what he's read in newspapers or seen on television.
Mr. Holder is conducting a review of the law, at President Obama's request, to see if the federal government should challenge it in court. He said he expects he will read the law by the time his staff briefs him on their conclusions.
"I've just expressed concerns on the basis of what I've heard about the law. But I'm not in a position to say at this point, not having read the law, not having had the chance to interact with people are doing the review, exactly what my position is," Mr. Holder told the House Judiciary Committee.
This weekend Mr. Holder told NBC's "Meet the Press" program that the Arizona law "has the possibility of leading to racial profiling." He had earlier called the law's passage "unfortunate,"...

House Judiciary Committee video at Post #88.
And not one talking head on any of those talk shows bothered to ask if he had read it. Zer0 journalists there.
America is the laughing stock of the world. Our education system has failed us as we have elected offcials making statments without even reading the documents. Can you imagine what they will do with treaties. Oh I thought you read them!
ZING!
Holder looked like a fool.
Send $$$ to conservative candidates. We need to take the government back from the MARXIST and yes , it you haven’t figured it out yet the country is run by MARXIST now .Don’t kid yourself that it isn’t. Nothing short of revolution is needed.
Thanks, jaz!
(Sure glad I didn't have to waste all that time waiting for that part!)
re: treaties
another reason not to trust ANYTHING the Obamanation tries to force upon us in terms of treaties -— just think of all the govts of the world lining up to play puppeteer with these a##clowns
of course, the stuff that Obama and co. knowingly seek to foist upon us is bad enough, but we can’t even trust these self-styled “elite” thinkers to read the basic documents before they babble..... btw, does anyone have actual evidence that Obambi and Holder ever read the US Constitution??? I know that it’s said that Obambi taught at U. Chicago Law School a bit, but he didn’t really teach “Con Law” at all from what I understand -— he taught some miasma of race/class/gender political correctness and no one knows if he’s actually read or thought about the US Constitution at all.
I'm sure that's the plan but it isn't working. At all.
I second your motion! We need to remove this IDIOT from his postion.
John Ashcroft was the right man at the right time. He didn’t make a move without reviewing the constitiution and the laws. He even got sideways with The Bush folks because he wanted to make sure the Law of the land was followed.
LOL! I loved when Poe said "I'll give you my copy, if you'd like to have a copy."
ZING!
Holder looked like a fool.
LOL! Absolutely beautiful
You just made my day! :)
So we have our Attorney General, our President, numerous other politicians, and the media all criticizing a law most of them haven’t bothered to read. They are basing their judgements on what groups that support open borders and illegal immigration and illegals themselves have to say about it...ok
He didn’t read the Stimulus or Obamacare either.
Barry0 has read enough of it to call it "a document of negative rights" (ie it says what the government can't do) and should be "a document of positive rights" (ie what the government should do for the people ie social justice). That's 100% a Soviet/Stalinist view of what a constitution should be.
Hannity on Fox News just played a clip of Rep. Ted Poe asking Holder if he read it.
Bam’s tool is warped.
FOOL/TOOL! Unfortunately, he will probably be the warden at the reeducation camp I get sent to. Attorney General LOL. He probably can’t read...just another “equal-opportunity” baby.
Loved it! especially watching Sean Patrick Flannery!!! Time to watch Boondock Saints again!
