When it comes to business climate, California ranks last among the states according to the latest attack on the rules and red tape despised by the respondents to a survey by CEO Magazine.

Neutron bomb the place and start over.
They should be outraged...in Venezuela...
More like the Greece of North America.
More like a suburb of Mexico with a touch of Greece economy attached.
I am on hold with BART, thousands of employees making $100K plus for leaving me on hold for 15 minutes.
Screw Government jobs. A few cops a zoning office and a city counsel, that’s it. Privatize the rest!
Read the comments, for example:
If California is the new Venezuela, then Texas would be the new China. Overpopulated, fear driven and completely environmentally unsound.
37 Million Californians can’t be wrong.
CEO rag is all about anti tax, pro business BS. California will always be light-years ahead of Texas for one simple reason. Texas is a complete DUMP.
The US Chamber of Commerce, like that CEO rag, is obsessed with ridding our country of environmental regulations and civil rights, two ares where California leads the nation, if not the world. Of course these swine want to get rid of our progressive politics, but that’s just so they can turn CA into Somalia.
Friendly people with positive attitudes who have an understanding of personal responsibility makes for a great State and business climate for job growth!
California is already an economic Somalia.
so true
Texas is not over-populated, except with liberals.
37 Million Californians cant be wrong
No, but the majority can be.
Kalipornicrats don’t care if their state becomes Zimbabwe as long as its got legal pot, is gay friendly and has D’s in charge.
Yep-- a 'DUMP' with low unemployment, no state tax, affordable housing, fairly conservative and pretty friendly residents. BTW---the Hill Country and East Tx. are rather quite scenic too. But enjoy Ca. while you still have a job. (not you c19)

Magazine mocks California as “the Venezuela of North America”
“
CEO Magazine is late.
About 15 years ago, Newsweek magazine (IIRC) had an article about the
collapsing infrastructure (e.g., public school system) of California.
The article’s title was so good I sent a copy to my brother and sister-in-law
who were working in life sciences at one of the major universities in Mississippi.
The title of course was:
“The Mississippification of California”
Liberalism is in it’s death throws but it will take a while. It’s interesting that those states in the best shape are conservative (Red) and those in the worst shape liberal (blue). This is driving the liberals crazy. I love it.
The Liberal Train stops in Detroit, its ultimate cosmic destination. Yea, watching the self anointed elites sweat the idiocy of their beliefs is fun to watch, but painful to live through. Maybe in NOV America can pull the scabbed bandage that is the Dem party off hard and fast and real healing (economic, psychic and spiritual) can begin to occur?
Texas is a dump?? Really? Compared to California? You mean, the state with more liberal fools, welfare recipients, crime, and double wide trailer parks than any state west of Florida?
You, sir, give mental retardation a bad name. Your misinformed opinion is exactly why Texas is laughing their collective butts off at California, while most of the sane people in California are moving to Texas in droves.
Get a friggin’ clue, retard.

And to think that before chronic DemoLiberal “governance” in California, it’s economy was more robust than many countries...many small countries put together...Now look at it...It’s pathetic...There will be epidemic starvation in California cities soon.
