DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -- Nine people have been indicted in federal court on charges they accessed President Barack Obama's student loan records while employed for a Department of Education contractor in Iowa.

The U.S. attorney's office says a grand jury returned the indictments Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Davenport.

Obviously, you are not the only one ... but realizing the state we’ve reached, which is now beyond fixing IMHO is so depressing that many of us have decided to step aside and wait.

I am sorry that I have come across as being harsh.

Of course you are absolutely correct! That we have Obama is due to a complicit media and populace. Demoralization is what made the media and populace complicit.

Would the alleged records have to be made public at some point during the trial? Or would they be considered irrelevant? Does anyone know?

“I'm surprised the company had the network resources to maintain an audit for that long.”

User access audit trails are built into accounting and personal privacy database maintenance systems so no out of the ordinary network resources would be needed.

Given Obama’s suspected vulnerability to discovery of personal data that would lead to ineligibility the WH/DOJ/DHS may be attempting to identify national databases that might contain such information and then demand audits of who peeked at Obama’s records and when using existing audit procedures.

In any large organization handing personal data on a national scale there will be some folks who just can't resist peeking at the personal data of their favorite celebrities or enemies (often the ex-wife or her new boyfriend, for example). From 2007 to the present no one has been more of a celebrity (or reviled) than Obama?

When a large scale breach is discovered at a particular entity the first step would be to indict. Then having the hammer of possible conviction over the head of the offenders, the DOJ will demand to know what they saw in the records and to whom did they disclose that information as well as whether they conspired with any other party to obtain the information.

This would, of course, enable damage control if Obama used a fraudulent SS# or applied for loans as a foreign student, for example.

What's his Social Security Number? (I know... which one?)

Given his Birth Day, Social Security Number and Last Name, we can verify his Selective Service registration.

Verify Selective Service; https://www.sss.gov/RegVer/wfVerification.aspx

“Heck the information that Obama doesn’t want to be revealed may very well be right insight for all to see and everyone is missing it or overlooking it.”

You mean his blatantly, obvious communist ways?

“No one in Ohio was punished for accessing AND sharing Joe the Plumbers records.”

This is not correct. See:

begin quote

Helen Jones-Kelley, director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, resigned last night near the end of a monthlong, unpaid suspension for mining state computers for confidential information on “Joe the Plumber.”

Two senior managers suspended for their roles in the scandal that spiced this year’s presidential campaign also are leaving, The Dispatch has learned. The administration fired Doug Thompson, deputy director of child support. Fred Williams, assistant agency director, resigned effective Jan. 31.

Consider the state where this grand jury was brought ... Iowa, the same state of people whoi have continued to send the despicable Tom Harkin to the Senate for lo these too many years. Holder’s unJustice Department isn’t about to allow anything be made public which would negatively impact his little affirmative action godman.

I was wondering if they searched under Barry Soetoro or Barack Obama or Barry Dunham?

And if he never legally changed his name to Obama, and isn't legally eligible for the presidency, are they still guilty of the crime as charged?

Calling a long-established freeper a troll on the forum is like using the n-word. It’s unnecessarily offensive.

I cannot believe TWO headlines today!!! One is Hawaii making it impossible for anyone to get Obama’s birth certificate and now people can go to a federal prison for wanting to know WHAT OUR MEDIA SHOULD HAVE REPORTED ?

Remember Dan Rather and Bush? Fod Godsakes reporters usually don’t give up finding and REPORTING such generalized basic information of any other President!

This is all insane.
