If senior journalist David Goldman is right, the correct word for describing the way a growing number of US Jews feel about President Barack Obama is not 'anger' but 'rage' – white-hot rage, at that, and a conviction that they have been swindled.
Goldman, Senior Editor of First Things magazine and 'Spengler' columnist for Asia Times Online, spoke last week at a convention on intellectuals and terror at Ariel University in Samaria. In his lecture, he quoted a top Jewish campaign donor who used the word 'sociopath' to describe Obama. In an interview with Israel National News, he predicted a possibly dramatic 'train wreck' for the Democrats in the November mid-term elections, with Jewish fundraising for Democrats drying up and a possibly high turnout of anti-Obama evangelical Christians.

You might be surprised to find an overrepresentation of Jews in the libertarian movement historically. I'm thinking of prominent names like Ayn Rand, Milton Friedman, Murray Rothbard, Hayek, and von Mises. The last four were very important free market economists.
I have read that only 10% to 15% of people who are considered to be Jews today are in anyway connected to those who lived in Judea at the time of Christ. If that is factual then there are probably many other reasons that there are so many diverse opinions on who’s who and what it all means.

You’re taking this personal and being defensive. it almost appears as though you are playing the race card, kinda... and there is no need for you to do any of that.
You’re on a thread about American-Jews, specifically those that helped to put that traitor bastard in office..... NOT Jews in general and NOT conservative Jews.
As for your question, “Do you have the same hatred for Roman Catholics?”... my answer is ABSOLUTELY YES. The same can be said for Baptists, or any other religion or race.
It’s not just about American-Jews... it’s about the damn libs of whatever persuasion.
I shouldn’t have to say this, but I support the Jews in Israel as well as conservative Jews here. I also support conservative Blacks, but I hate the 98% of the worthless, lazy, black morons that helped to put that white hating and country destroying bastard in office.
One could argue that we shouldn’t put people in groups, but we didn’t... they, as traitors and idiots, did this to themselves.
Our country’s troubles have become less about politics and far more about survival of these dem POS that are working overtime to kill this country.

When a people starts being called by a “nickname” it tends to stick - sorta like “Yanks” or “Brits”. It doesn’t denote any kind of genetic tie. Judaism does now and has always accepted converts. Converts would not necessarily be genetically related to any particular tribe.
When a person converts to Judaism, they become Jewish in every sense of the word. When a woman converts to Judaism and later has children - those children are Jewish by birth. And the family line is accepted to be Jewish thereafter unless one of them converts to another religion.
The idea that bloodline is the be-all, end-all in Jewish life is a misinterpretation of our texts usually misinterpreted by Christians. I understand that there is a Christian end-time prophecy regarding the 144,000. I understand the Christian hunt for the “Lost Tribes”, I understand the reason behind that hunt and I understand the reasoning behind Christian attempts to convert Jews to Christianity. I also understand the prophecies regarding the Antichrist, the 7 year period, the slaughter of the Jews, the third temple and so on.
But in order for you to understand what I am talking about - you need to understand this about Jews: There is nothing other that G-d. Nothing exists that G-d did not create. There is no place of origination, no place of destination other than G-d. Observant Jews believe that we all stood together in spirit at Sinai - Every Jew who would ever be born was there and that includes those who would convert to Judaism.
If you have questions about the validity of this teaching, please take note of the brilliance of G-d: Christians who believe that bloodlines are so very important - Jesus was from the “line of David” - David, the King of Israel. David, beloved of G-d. David, the murderer, the adulterer. David, slayer of giants and singer of songs. David, the beautiful grandson of a convert.

For most of chr*stian history, Fundamentalist Protestantism did not exist (ask any Roman Catholic or Eastern Orthodox chr*stian; they'll be happy to explain it to you). For roughly 1700 years every pogrom, every massacre, every outrage perpetrated by chr*stians against Jews was perpetrated by NON-Fundamentalist chr*stians. Again, any EO or RC will happily explain how alienated Protestant Fundamentalism is from true historical chr*stianity.

Liberal Jews like to think that Jewish history consists of nothing but Nobel Physics Prizes and Weimar Republic intellectuals. It is for this reason that people like Abe Foxman actually try to make anti-Semites of Fundamentalist chr*stians, so they can tell themselves that their ancestors were as liberal as they themselves are.
I have lived my entire life among Fundamentalist chr*stians. My sister is a Southern Baptist and she has never so much as even tried to convert me (she's probably less uncomfortable with my being a Noachide than she was with my being Roman Catholic for six years!). The vast majority of American Fundamentalist Protestants are the nicest, most decent, and most pro-Jewish people you could ever hope to meet.
And by the way--they're probably the only segment of the American population that knows about Judaea!
