FYI in the 1960’s it was common for people to travel by unscheduled airlines, they were cheaper than the scheduled airlines. It is not unlikely that there was a charter from Hawaii or the mainland to Kenya in June 1961 to return Kenya students from Hawaii or other parts of the USA to Kenya at the end of the regular school year. I personally know unscheduled airlines flew from California to Hawaii and back in the 1960’s.

I think the hirelings (whoever they are) have been instructed to ramp up the disinfo campaign since the ineligibility topic is gaining traction.

From what it looks like on these threads lately, I agree wholeheartedly. I've also noticed that the increased pressure has led to an increased level of snarkiness by them as well. In their desperation it seems they've recruited a few semi-literate dolts to bolster the effort. I'm sure that you've recognized them by the grunt-like appeals to authority that they spit out, over and over and over.

I like your poetic touch:

“...the grunt-like appeals to authority that they spit out, over and over and over.”

Almost Carl Sandburg-esque.

How did Obama Sr. make his way to Hawaii since it seems such a difficult task in that day and age?

By plane, paid for by the foundation that was sponsoring him to study at the Universtiy of Hawaii.

Just curious why it would be difficult for Stanley Ann, but not for Obama Sr. to travel.

1) She was pregnant. 2) She didn't have a foundation picking up her travel expenses.

And which of those lines had the same ship calling in both Hawaii and Mombassa?

Correct. I don’t believe you.

Obama has claimed that he was born at 2 different hospitals in Hawaii. That is not something you forget. Leads one to believe that he is lying.

Why won’t he release his birth certificate? When someone hides something, they have something to hide.

Regardless of where he was born, Obama is NOT eligible to serve as President because he is NOT a natural born citizen since his father was not an American citizen.

I replied to BIGLOOK as follows:
What I've seen so far suggests that there was a maternity facility for birthing, not just a clinic. My check on this shows Kapiolani maternity home built in 1908. Here's an article about the Nordyke twins, saying they were born at "the old Kapiolani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital". And here's a medical article from Kapiolani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital which has data from 1957 through 1966. It sounds like there were several institutions named Kapiolani, two of which merged when the new hospital was opened in 1978.
BIGLOOK did not dispute any of this.

More from what you found.... Narobia had a modern International Airport that opened in 1958. Various pics.

Nairobi Embakasi

Nairobi Embakasi was opened in May 1958 by the Governor. The Queen Mother was unable to undertake the official opening owing to her QANTAS Constellation being delayed due to engine trouble. The Queen Mother had been on an official visit to Australia.

Embakasi's austere entrance (left) taken shortly after the airport opened in 1958. Another view (right) of the entrance featuring the East African Airways half decker coach which ferried passengers to and from Nairobi Note also the Ford Zephyr Mk 1, the Peugeot 202 estate car and the Mark 2 Ford Zephyrs in the background - PHOTOs (left) Malcolm McCrow and (right) Ron Bullock

Photographs from Ron Bullock of an Air France Super 'G' Constellation, a BOAC Britannia 312 and East African Airways Canadair Argonaut. By 1960 BOAC had reverted to its original plan and used the Britannia 102 on Flight BA 161 to Nairobi via Rome, Khartoum and Entebbe.

Air India introduced the Boeing 707 (left) and Alitalia the DC-8 (right) to Nairobi in 1961. In December 1960 South African Airways ran one of their Boeing 707s off the runway without serious damage to the aircraft or passengers.

Stanley Ann and her Kenyan husband could have traveled with ease in and out of Kenya when Obama Jr. was born.

From my post right above this one. It was no problems for British royalty to celebrate the Nairobi Airport in 1958, and it would have been no problems for the Obamas to fly in and out with ease with Jr. in 1961.

Kapi’olani Hospital wasn’t built until the ‘70s and opened sometime in the mid ‘70s, while I was attending the UH at Manoa. OUTSTANDING POST OF THE DAY!!!!!!!!! Thanks for that info - I had not seen that before!!

It's true, but be careful about drawing the wrong conclusion and perpetuating internet myths. The current Kapiolani was opened in the late 70's, as a continuation of the old Kapiolani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital and the old Kauikeolani Children's Hospital. The Nordyke twins were born at Kapiolani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital. So yes, the current hospital dates from the '70s, but the predecessor hospital existed in 1961.

The hospital did not exist at the time of Barry o’s birth.

Sorry, but this part of your post is going to lead to a new false internet myth (on the order of the Pakistan travel ban myth). While the current Kapiolani was not yet built, the predecessor Kapiolani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital (where the Nordyke twins were born) definitely existed at that time.

Sorry to say that I don’t know the locations, and don’t know enough about Honolulu to know what the locations imply. Next, I want to dig up info from a many months old thread on air travel into Nairobi. I recall it’s there somewhere...

a few months back there was a huge thread where everything was discussed, planes boats everything about Obie and his “biography” and things related to what little information was available.

I remembered that a lot of this had been discussed months ago, and someone even found detailed flight schedules (if I remembered who, I would give credit.) Exactly right they had Comet 4s and page 93 even mentions the schedule: “twice weekly London-Nairobi flights” as of Jan 12 1960, with increased flights starting Jan 1962. Daily flights were started May 1962. We figured a flight time, assuming perfect connections - which I have to say would be extremely unlikely - of at least 36 hours.
