CNS News had a good story about her anti-First Amendment stance ... Chief Justice Roberts: Kagan Asked Court to 'Embrace Theory of First Amendment That Would Allow Censorship Not Only of Radio and Television Broadcasts, But Pamphlets and Posters'

She should be denied ... but then, there are these pubics ...

So to summarize, Obama has nominated a Harvard Law School graduate (just like himself), who worked as a law professor at the University of Chicago (just like himself), who has little to no private sector experience (just like himself), who took money from Goldman Sachs (just like himself) for a job which she has never performed before in her lifetime (just like himself when he ran for the position of the nations chief executive despite having absolutely no executive experience in his lifetime). Kinda figures, doesn't it. After all, who would write a bio about themselves at age 37, especially when you haven't done a damn thing, and follow that book up with spending a gazillion dollars to make sure no one can see any of your past records, be they college transcripts, medical records, or anything else. The man's a sham and so are the people who work around him...

So far, the best her supporters can muster is, “she’s very bright, and has an egaging personality”. Why does this sound like the setup for a bad blind date? The problem with it is that this blind date starts with a wedding chappel.

Some of the very same people who are supporting Kagan were the same people who mocked Sarah Palin for not being qualified to be Vice President.
To: Desperado67
not much is known about Kagans viewpoints on various issues. That is because she has never served a single day as a judge Rush Limbaugh and Barbara Streisand haven't been judges either. Their viewpoints ARE known on various issues. Having and expressing opinions has more to do with being alive than it does with having been a judge.

Another similarity with Obama: both are homosexuals or have had homosexual contact.
I know that I will sleep easier now that will be TWO man-hating deisel dyke lesbos on the Supreme Court.
To: Desperado67
Starting to sound more and more like the libs have found another angry radical whose abrasive loudness and controversy (oooh, she’s a lesbian!) are wrongly admired as “intelligence”
Listened to an excerpt of the tape of her arguing before the Court and being smacked down by Roberts and Kennedy- and recognized that she is well spoken but stupid. All hat, no cattle.

As in any occupation, experience and aptitude are usually required to be promoted to the top of ones profession.
Kagan has neither of those qualifications.
If you wish to judge her qualifications from her articles, she has written a grand total of FOUR.
A candidate with no track record, no Judicial Opinions and no Judicial experience. Seems to me we're once again being told to just trust Obama, something I'm incapable of doing.

We can hope that when this country finally wakes up to the truth about our Usurper In Chief and kick him out, all his appointments, orders, etc., will be kicked out as well.

As a law professor at the University of Chicago and Harvard, she should have published a substantial number of legal articles and, possibly, some books. Such publication is usually a prerequisite to obtaining tenure. Did she ever get tenure? What, if any, were her publications? If she doesn’t have a significant paper trail of scholarship, such as Robert Bork’s massive trail, then it looks like she’s a political hack who advanced though skilled string pulling and AA for lesbians, not any real scholarship. That would make her the most unqualified nominee since Harriet Meyers.

No man has ever withdrawn from her.

And win a Nobel Peace prize based on what you're GOING to do, not what you've done.
To: Desperado67
The trail balloon was floated with people making statement or writing that you don't need to have a sitting judge for the Supreme Court. Didn't the power of suggestion sink into your brain?
You will have to report to the special train.

a Rising Star without a Record?
Are we talking about a SCOTUS nominee or an American Idol finalist here?

who would write a bio about themselves at age 37 Even more puzzling to me is who the hell would BUY it? Maybe Soros bought a few hundred thousand of them and had them shipped directly to a land-fill.
