Daniels disclosed to WND the name of the database she searched and produced a computer screen copy of the page that listed 1890 as a date associated with the 042 Social Security number.

SS numbers didn't come into effect until the FDR years, 1935 if I recall correctly.

Yes, but a person born in 1890 would have been 45 in 1935 and would have been issued a card. I can state this with absolute authority as my grandmother (b. 1900) had a social security card issued in 1935, it came into my possession after her death.

The article doesn't state that the card was ISSUED in 1890, it states that the cardholder was BORN in 1890.

So my point still stands, for Obama to be using this number he would 1) have to be over 100 years old, or 2) its fraudulent.

78 - 79 is Obammas Senior year in high school. He is applying for aid and admissions for College scholarships as an refugee/immigrant. He needs an SSN. He simply calls the law office in Connecticut that handled his immigration five years earlier. He tells them he needs an SSN. They send him one. Not a big deal. Everyone is reading to much into this.

Not sure if you were being sarcastic but needing a SSN because he's a refugee or immigrant would pretty well prove Obama's ineligibility to be president wouldn't it?

Since Social Security cards were not issued until FDR (who established the practice)....any dates ‘associated with a card’ previous to 1935 would be birth dates of the cardholder.

If you re-read my post, you will see that I WAS NOT DEPENDING ON THE LSM OR MSM. What my post says is, since the LSM will not publicize this story - as a previous poster stated - then use other media to spread the story, thereby further discrediting the LSM for burying it.

We can’t expect too many people to understand that it is SRM or Communist Media, yet. We need to show - and this story illustrates the fact - that they are hiding something like this on behalf of Obama. Oh, but you say it really isn’t anything at all, because you can explain his social security number being from Connecticut.

If he ever applied for naturalization, (which I very much doubts he did,) he would automatic been issued a valid S.S. Card!!

That's his huge problem. If you are NOT a U.S. citizen or you don't have a valid "Green-Card" the only way is to make an identity theft, which is most likely he did!!!

Correct - but someone who was born in 1890 would only have been 45 years old if they applied when SS first started. If I understand the story correctly, the number that Obama is using was issued in Connecticut to someone who listed their birthdate as 1890 - it isn’t saying the number was issued in 1890.

However, I believe the records also show that Obama didn’t start using this number until he was in Chicago around 1986....at which time he had already (supposedly) attended Occidental and Columbia. So the question remains, what SSN was he using from 1975 - when he claims to have gotten his job at Baskin-Robbins in Honolulu - until 1986 when he started using this number.

Not sure when, if ever, someone in the state run media will get frustrated enough with the way they are being manipulated and actually start digging into some of these “irregularities”.

Yeah, and how does this change the fact that a person born in 1890 was issued a card in 1936 or whenever?

And how exactly does it change that Obama using a number 'associated with 1890' (which would have to be a birthdate since there was no Soc. Sec. in 1890) means he's either 1) over age 100 or 2) committed fraud?

I read on the SSA site they have issued over 400 million SS numbers as of now.. The policy has always been never to reuse a number. They feel they can continue as is well into this century and beyond. Check the SSA FAQ’s at http://www.SSA.gov.

This story has been out there for months now.. WND until now has ignored it.
