“Mother May I?” Masculinity
The Spearhead ^ | January 6, 2010 | Jack Donovan

Posted on 05/10/2010 11:57:38 PM PDT by Christian Cage

Modern women balk at any suggestion that men should be able to tell women how to behave. Many believe that a woman should be able to do whatever she likes without worrying “what women are supposed to do.”

When feminists talk to men, they pretend to offer the same sort of freedom from social expectations attached to one’s sex. But this talk of freedom is always a lie. This new, “free” model of manhood approved by feminists must, after all, serve the interests of feminism. Many traditionally masculine behaviors and ideas are clearly “off limits.” So, while the new woman does whatever she wants and explores her world unfettered, the feminist male is carefully restricted and monitored for signs of disobedience or treachery.

He’s a rhinestone collared lapdog with a humiliating barrette in his hair, free to run in a yard bordered by an electric fence.

At best, he’s allowed the manly privileges of opening jars and taking out the garbage.

The pro-feminist male is a wretched, guilt-ridden creature who must at every turn make certain he is not impeding the progress of women in any way. He willingly accepts guilt for crimes against women he never committed, perpetrated by men he has never met.

Exactly, and there are still some good ladies out there. Hard to find and harder that they aren’t already taken. :)

"Corporal punishment for a 15-year-old?

No, corporal punishment for a 15-year-old male.

And I'm not so sure "punishment" is the proper word for it. It's more like laying down the law, establishing righteous boundaries, teaching the kid that there will be painful physical consequences for behaving like an ass, repercussions that mom or any other female in authority over a juvenile male cannot even threaten, let alone deliver, to an adolescent male who is disrespectful and abusive because he thinks "Corporal punishment? But I'm just a kid!" But adolescent boys are not children. They are young men, with all the physical power and passion and twice the hormones of older men.

In the real world, many an asshole male has gotten his ass kicked physically for being a jerk and thought twice about being a jerk again; a lecture would not have accomplished the same. It's the way boys and young men are wired. Girls are different. God made us that way.

So, in extreme cases, yeah. Corporal "punishment" for an out-of-control 15-year-old male. Absolutely.

This article is as stereotypical as any article published by the feminists. There are wussy men of any political stripe... some of the biggest loud mouth asshole bullies I’ve ever met, were lefty male’s who “supported” feminists. I think they saw it as an opportunity to do even less.
