I've gotten a couple of e-mails asking for comment on next week's Pennsylvania Senate primary, in which Joe Sestak appears to be surging against Arlen Specter and has overtaken him in new Rasmussen and Muhlenberg polling.

This is one of those times where the obvious answer seems to be the right one: the surge is probably real, and Arlen Specter may be in a great deal of trouble.

It looks like an invitation to a bris...
fat finger ?
Hopefully after this election we will never have to hear the name Arlen Specter again!!!
Or the start of a basketball game...
Wouldnt put it past him to run as an Independent anyway. Snarlin Arlen desperately wants to hold on to his power.

I don’t think that Pennsylvania law would allow him to be on the ballot if he loses the primary.
I think I would have preferred a Toomey Specter contest...
Sestak’s ads have been devastating against Arlen -or Arleen, as I call him...
Arlen’s ready for a dribble cup. Good riddance.
I missed your thread, I just posted the Rasmussen poll released today which has Sestak up 5. The Muhlenberg poll has him up 5 as well. With a week to go, Sestak should simply widen his lead from here, as the few undecideds will break for the challenger.
I think Toomey will beat either Sestak or Specter. If it’s Sestak, he’ll have to defend voting for Cap & Tax (I think he voted for that), and Obamacare. He’ll try to paint Toomey as a tool of Wall St., but I doubt that will carry the day.
i can’t see how any active duty person or retired military person can even be a demoncrap.
Maybe he will switch to Green Party now...
I can’t wait to see Arlene cryin like a school girl.
Yep - but when they make flag, it’s kiss ass all the way...and the brass these days are kissing some major butt of Obambi...too sad for the troopers...God bless ‘em...
Let both of these boneheads fight it out-I’m still voting for Toomey.
