Obama Picks Anti-Military Loon Elena Kagan For Supreme Court

Obama picked an anti-military loon to sit on the Supreme Court today. Elena Kagan expelled military recruiters from the Harvard campus in defiance of The Solomon Act. Her case was rejected by even the most liberal justices of the Supreme Court. Of course, the fact that Obama would nominate some radical with such poor judgement to the Supreme Court surprises no one.

Leftwing activist Kagan protests the military.

This photo shows Dean Elena Kagan protesting against the military at a LAMBDA-sponsored rally at Harvard in 2004. (HL Record)

Kagan told fellow protesters at the rally:

“I’m very opposed to two government policies that directly violate our policy of nondiscrimination and directly impact our students,” stated Dean Kagan at the rally. “The first is ‘Don’t ask, don’t tell.’…. The second is the Solomon Amendment which effectively forces educational institutions to make exceptions to their nondiscrimination policy when it comes to the military and military recruitment.”

The pro-military organization Move America Forward is not pleased:

“Kagan was the last person from Obama’s short list that military personnel and their families want to see appointed to the Supreme Court. Not only has Kagan never even been a judge, she has a record of being radically anti-military, most notably in her opposition to the Soloman Act.”

When Kagan was Dean of Law at Harvard University, she expelled military recruiters from campus in defiance of The Solomon Act, which she has argued against in writing and speeches. She, along with 40 other law professors, argued to the Supreme Court against the Soloman Act, but her arguments were rejected by even the most liberal justices.

“President Obama should be appointing to the Supreme Court only those who truly appreciate the heroism and contribution to our freedom we get from the United States military. Kagan fails that test, and we hope she will be summarily rejected in confirmation by the United States Senate.” concluded Gonzalez.

Elena Kagan’s most notable foray into public life was kicking military recruiters off of Harvard’s campus. This must have impressed Barack Obama so much that he is putting her on the Supreme Court. God Bless America.

This is the best we can do?

Really.

I’m sure Orrin can’t wait to vote for her.

Her anti-military activism can not be hammered enough.

Even if the Democrats ram this tired looking old lesbian into the court, it will cost them dearly.

Unfortunately, she’s a fairly young lesbian. So if, God forbid, she is confirmed, she’ll likely be on the court for the next 30 or 40 years.

It is the best that Obama could do. He wants his administration and this government filled with these kind of miscreants. His intention is to reshape this country into a nightmare never dreamt of by our forefathers.

It is such a pity that such a great number of the people in this country either don't care or never learned to recognize what this evil man is doing. He is a tribute to Stalin, Marx, Lenin, Il Duce and Hitler all rolled into one (probably with a little bit of Idi Amin - to be revealed after total consolidation)

While attending Princeton University, Kagan wrote a thesis entitled, ‘To the Final Conflict—Socialism in New York City, 1900-1933.’ In that thesis Kagan definitely throws her support to the Socialist Movement.

Kagan also served as a faculty member of the Chicago Law School during the time that Barack Obama was hired as a temporary instructor at the school.

She also shares a rather radical philosophy with Obama concerning Presidential power, the authority of the state to mandate citizen purchases of health insurance, and she even advocated for the increased role of the President in regulating the the private sector and individual lives.

Kagan defended the Citizens United case that Obama scolded Supreme court for their ruling during state of the union address.

Obama administration’s lawyer, Solicitor General Elena Kagan, made extravagant claims about the extent to which government can censor its critics, outlawing books, movies, and other methods of informing the public. Olson pushed back hard, pointing to the terrible power that this part of BCRA gives the government against private citizens banding together to speak out during election season.--
