Interesting that English isn’t up there. Having a BA in English and working on my MA, I’m making well over the high points of most of those jobs and will shoot for management when the market gets better. Of course, it helps having 15 years of enterprise-level IT experience...

I got my BA in English. It only took me three years to figure out that a nice MBA would go very well with an English degree.
BTW, shortly I'll be retiring; does anyone want to buy my old MBA? I'll throw in the English degree for nothing.

I’m the same with a history degree. Always helps to have a technical background. :) Employment really sucks around here though.
